Full circle of life here as my daughter bought a unit in a block in which my whole family had spent some months and even years dwelling there over the years.
This was really like a trip into the past.
Day one of renovations was quite interesting and the builder achieved a lot - having taken down a dividing wall between the kitchen and the lounge.

So, this was Day 1
We popped in to look at the progress today - Day 2
The bathroom gutted
Door to patio from the bedroom

Patio
The patio will be re-tiled - as part of a general refurb to the complex.
The complex prides itself on beautiful gardens and their is a lovely swimming pool on the property. I'm looking forward to making use of the pool in the coming summer months.
Another amazing feature is a shopping centre across the road with several coffee shops, a Spar Grocery store with very modern features and of note, a delicatessen where one can pick up ready meals when taking a break from cooking. Also was delighted to see that a doctor I had used many years ago still had a practise in the shopping centre.
This morning we popped across the road to share a breakfast and some cappuccino's
Such a lovely garden type atmosphere
And who can resist a bar-one cheese cake to round off the breakfast
I'm really looking forward to sharing this journey with all of you. Thank you for reading my blogs.
