We all have our own different gods based on our beliefs and religious affiliations. The person who goes before a shrine with one statue sitting in front of it to do his or her worship is not worshiping the same god as the one who goes to the river to bathe in an act of spiritual exercise. Those who worship in the mosque are not worshiping the same God as those who worship in the church. So, we cannot say, with all these realities before us, that we are worshiping the same God.
The world is a place that is full of all kinds of things. We have the original as well as the fake. We should verify whatever we are doing to ascertain that they are real. Equally as there is some fake stuff everywhere, there are false gods also. Because they are false gods, they are false prophets. It is for us to know the God whom we worship and be sure that we are serving the true God.
We are talking about worshiping the same God. That should not be the issue. The issue should have been whether we are serving the true God. Have you known the true God? Are you serving the True God? Whoever wants to serve the True God must come through Jesus Christ.
