There are several religious beliefs but we must hold on to the doctrines which were handed over to us by the apostles. The true practices in the church are the ones which we have from our Lord Jesus Christ and which were handed over to us by the apostles. Whatever was not recorded for us is false doctrine.
There was no reference which was made for us about a Holy Week in the church of God. The Lord Jesus Christ died and resurrected for our redemption. He did not die so that we could be holy for some season and then become unholy there after. We are called unto holiness. The Bible calls us a holy nation. We are to be holy everytime. We are not going to allow unholiness in our lives in any way. Without holiness, no man shall see the Lord.
The apostles of Jesus Christ did not practice Holy Week. They did not observe any week as holy and desecrated another. All the time, they followed God in holiness. The children of God must always be holy. They should live their lives according to the doctrines of Jesus Christ every day. They should avoid sin in their life every day. Their lives must showcase the truth of the word of God.
If we practice the concept of the holy week, we are speaking by application and can be unholy at some other time. When are we not going to be holy? There is no time when we will not live holy. The Bible says that we should be holy as our heavenly Father is holy. So, we are not observing any holy week because every week must be kept holy before the Lord.
