Seeing it is considered a blessing in itself. This flower grows in the high mountainous regions of the Himalayas, especially in the high mountainous regions of Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh

It is usually found at an altitude of 10,000 to 15,000 feet.
