I have two self Two souls I claim; Two different self yet With the same name! One self that never stops finding Way for me to my dreams- Another self who adores me For everything that I am! Two different self living Side by side in peace- Living like this since birth With my greater allegiance! The first self that is responsible For carrying me here; Monitoring me, nurturing me And launching my career The self that came within me Directly from my mother- For taking care of me when she'll Not be there to watch me over! Her features I bear everywhere Stoned with facial expression; That I wear Her loves follow me Everywhere yet- And set up this self; Within me for a greater good! Following with the examples In life that she thought- This self adores me for everything That I am- Protecting like a shield! That is equivalent to womb Mother, will I ever be able to Pay the price to you Don't hold yourself accountable For all the times that I brake! Another self that never Stopped believing me; That persists ever in my dreams To wash away those beasts! Father, you can't be with me all the time That's why you set up this- set within me to watch over This self gives me courage, strength and belief in everything that I do. Teaches me lessons Every time I'm broke, I wouldn't have been here If this self didn't exist; I will admire you both. Till my last breath To uphold your honour; In all possible ways I'll never let anything- Happen to me and themselves Because they are nothing but The whole of you!
