My new Soloking MS-11 (Guitar Unboxing)

 Quiero compartir con ustedes, lo que ha sido la dulce espera de una guitarra que tarde esperando durante casi un año a que ingresara al país, pero antes de hablar del instrumento, debo agradecer por otro lado, la enorme capacidad de aguante por no desviarme de mi objetivo, y de no terminar comprando otra guitarra, que muy probablemente no hubiera sido de mi agrado y solo por dejarme llevar por la emoción.

 Estas guitarras son fabricadas en Indonesia, pero la particularidad en este tipo de construcciones y que fue algo que llamo mi atención, y por lo que entendí, es que el mástil tiene un tratamiento en donde es ingresado al horno con una determinada temperatura, lo que le da ese aspecto a color tostado. Entiendo que es una guitarra, que por su costo no hubiera imaginado que se podía obtener una construcción que se podría comparar a la de una Charvel, por dar un ejemplo

These guitars are made in Indonesia, but the particularity in this type of construction and that was something that caught my attention, and from what I understood, is that the neck has a treatment where it is put in the oven at a certain temperature, which gives it that toasted color aspect. I understand that it is a guitar, that for its cost I would not have imagined that you could get a construction that could be compared to that of a Charvel, to give an example.

He quedado encantado con el detalle de la madera y en especial, porque nunca había tenido una guitarra con trastera de maple flameado, es de radio de 9.5 pulgadas y por lo que a mi me resulta bastante amigable para marcar acordes abiertos

I have been delighted with the detail of the wood and especially because I have never had a guitar with a flamed maple back, it has a 9.5 inch radius and so I find it quite friendly to mark open chords.

El encastre es muy similar al de una Ibanez RG, si que resulta más cómodo para los solos, aunque hubiera sido genial en radio compuesto, podría ser una modificación a largo plazo, pero de momento se queda así (jajaja).

 Los trastes tienen buenas terminaciones y están bien limados, no hay detalle de obstáculos, y es algo que debo agradecer mucho en cuanto al precio que podrían manejar este tipo de configuraciones, por lo que estoy conforme. **Aclarar también que esta foto no corresponde a la configuración final en cuanto a la altura que le he fijado a la calibración**

El mástil esta construido en forma de D, que en mi opinión personal puede parecer versátil a nivel de acordes en este tipo de configuración, aunque la he decidido usar para tocar algunos solos y porque luego de haberla tenido durante un poco más de año, también me ha resultado algo totalmente nuevo en cuanto a la forma de tocar, en comparación a otras guitarras que ya he tenido previamente. Tiene 22 trastes jumbo y trastera de acero inoxidable, también el detalle de incrustaciones de punto que contrastan con el acabado de la madera, algo que simplemente me pareció genial.

The neck is built in a D shape, which in my personal opinion may seem versatile at chord level in this type of configuration, although I have decided to use it to play some solos and because after having had it for a little over a year, it has also been something totally new to me in terms of playing, compared to other guitars I have had previously. It has 22 jumbo frets and a stainless steel back, also the dotted inlay detail that contrasts with the wood finish, something that I just thought was cool.

Otro de los regalos es que viene con estos afinadores de bloqueo, que si bien mantienen la afinación del instrumento es mejor no abusar del tremolo, aunque si es cierto que se mantiene lo más afinada 'posible'.

Another gift is that it comes with these locking tuners, which, although they keep the instrument in tune, it is better not to abuse the tremolo, although it is true that it stays as in tune as 'possible'.

  El puente es un sistema de dos puntos bastante ligero y cómodo, no hace falta usar mucha fuerza para apalancar el trémolo, tiene un set de micrófonos Alnico V, una perilla de volumen y otra de tono para 5 posiciones, me encantó el detalle del switch en Coil Split(una modificación menos gracias). Espero que el post haya sido de utilidad, en especial para quienes quieran adquirir este tipo de guitarras que no han tenido muchos años de entrar al mercado, en siguientes post estaré subiendo videos para que puedan apreciar el sonido, por lo que también estaré elaborando un resumen detallado acerca del mantenimiento y cambio de cuerdas.

The bridge is a modern two-point system quite light and comfortable, you don't need to use a lot of force to leverage the tremolo, it has a set of Alnico V microphones, a volume knob and a tone knob for 5 positions, I loved the detail of the Coil Split switch (one less modification).
