Hello everyone, another blog for each of you guys. How are you?For today I will be talking about the laboratory activity we had last Wednesday. Are you guys ready? So let's start!
Last Wednesday we had our laboratory activity in chemistry as a STEM student. It was a cool experience really. While we are there,we waited for a while since our teacher still need to get the laboratory equipments we need for our experiment

After some time,we then proceeded to the experiment. We did was the centrifugation, Evaporation and the Filtration.

First thing we did was the Filtration,we filter the Sea water with sand using the filter paper and put it in the Erlenmeyer flask and funnel. It did take time to filter the residue (sand) and the filtrate(seawater).
After that we then put the filtrate (sea water) in the crucible and heat it using the bunsen burner so that the sea water will evaporate and the sea salt will be left in the crucible. It also take time doing the evaporation process but it was worth it because we saw some sea salt particles even though it's not that a lot.

We then proceeded to the paper chromatography which I find the coolest of them all.So what we did here,is we put the filter paper with dot ink as (you can see) in the solution of water and alcohol. Then we just waited for a while so the the solution will come in the top along with the ink.

**Here's the final product.**
We also did the centrifugation, the separation of less dense part of the milk to the denser part of the milk.Well, sadly I didn't take some photos of the experiment but it was really cool.
We also answer an activity that is related to our experiment. It was a cool experience indeed with my classmates that we are able to separate mixtures first hand.I really did have so much fun that day and I also learned something new.
That's all for today hivers.Thankyou and God bless, see you in my next blog!🩷
