### Greetings SplinterLovers 💛
Hello to all content creators and Splinterlands enthusiasts, I hope you are all doing well in my favorite community. This time, as part of our fascinating immersion into the "Bloodline" (Human), today we dive into the story of a card that not only represents hope due to its history, but has also proven to be an unstoppable force of nature on the battlefield. Of course, I'm talking about **Olivia of the Brook**, an "Epic" rarity card from the "Rebellion" reward edition that belongs to the "Splinter of Life." This card is much more than just a simple card, as its stats and/or abilities, when combined and played correctly, are impressive.

**Best rules** ✅

- **High Mana Cap (Mana Alto):** Olivia is a 6 mana card, making her perfect for battles with a high mana limit. The more mana you have, the more likely you are to include her and give her the support she needs, which is essential to get the most out of her "Mimic" ability.
- **Only Armored Units (solo unidades con armadura):** An advantage that makes her suitable for very specific scenarios. Olivia's true power lies in her ability to steal abilities that change the course of the game, such as Bloodlust to become a serial killer, Heal to heal herself, Scavenger to gain health with each kill, or Affliction to neutralize the enemy's healing.
- **Equalizer (Igualador):** Although her base health isn't impressive, this rule evens out the health of all monsters to that of the unit with the most health on the field, turning Olivia into a card with considerable mana and abilities, an improvised tank that is incredibly difficult to take down, allowing her attacks and Mimic ability to do the dirty work.
**Worse rules** ❌

- **Back to Basics (De vuelta a lo básico):** This is undoubtedly the worst rule for her, as it eliminates all of the monsters' abilities, and Olivia's value lies 100% in her abilities (Mimic, Opportunity, etc.).
- **Fog of War (Niebla de guerra):** This rule nullifies the Sneak and Opportunity skills, since **Opportunity** is Olivia's main offensive skill, this rule reduces her to an attacker who can only strike from the first position, it would not work in any other position, so this is the worst-case scenario for her, even with magical attacks.
- **Little League (Liga pequeña):** With a cost of 6 mana, Olivia is simply unplayable under this rule, as the mana limit is usually 4 or less. It's the first card you'll discard when you see this rule.

When it comes to its price, the volatility of the Splinterlands market and the nature of new cards make it difficult to give an exact price. However, its rarity (Epic) and high demand make it a valuable asset for both owners and renters, due to its gameplay potential and status as one of the strongest cards in the "Rebellion" reward edition. Its value has generally been perceived positively by the community.
In summary, Olivia of the Brook is much more than a card; I would say it is a high-risk card, but with a high reward. It forces you to think of strategies that go beyond simple damage. It is not just a monster; it is a lethal assassin that you must have in your Life Splinter deck.

The art on this card depicts the fabulous legend of "Olivia of the Brook" and her snow leopard. This young woman looks at us with an expression of confidence and determination, especially given what she has had to endure. Her hair is a reddish brown color, and she wears a braided crown of leaves on her head. Her outfit is a fascinating blend of nature and magic, with a green tunic and a leather vest reminiscent of adventurers (which fits perfectly with her story). Her arms are covered by a wide-sleeved vest, while her left hand firmly holds a long staff with a sharp, shiny tip, also adorned with leaves. Her boots are tall and dark in color, ready for any terrain, although her habitat will always be the forest.
Next to her, sitting with a smile, is the real guest star haha (I love felines), a magnificent snow leopard, its white and gray coat is dotted with dark spots, and its eyes, electric blue (right) and golden (left), give us a glimpse of its intelligence and power. This fierce leopard seems to be a loyal and powerful companion, an extension of Olivia's own strength, faithful and the best companion she could have. Additionally, the background looks like an explosion of energy, with a bright golden yellow color that fits perfectly with the type of element it belongs to, although, if you ask me, this card should have been a dual element, both Earth and Life.

If art tells you a story, her stats and abilities reveal her potential on the battlefield. Olivia is a 6 mana card, which puts her in a strategic position for medium to high mana battles. However, her base health and speed do not make her one of the strongest cards. however, it is her abilities that make her a nightmare for her opponents and those who dare to face her.
From level 2, she has the "Mimic" ability, which allows her to randomly copy the abilities of the opponent's units. With this alone, can you imagine her potential? For example, if your opponent has a monster with Bloodlust in any position, Olivia could copy it from the second round onwards, turning her into a very dangerous "Offensive" card, especially since she already has "Opportunity." Now, let's suppose that in the next round she copies the "Thorns" ability. which will return the damage from each "Close Combat" attack she receives, so not only do you have an overwhelming attack, but you can also have a good "Defense".
***As is often the case with every card in the game, as it levels up, it becomes even more versatile and dangerous. In fact, let's take a look at it.:***
- **Level 1 Opportunity**: la progresión de sus estadísticas es crucial para su dThe progression of his stats is crucial to his performance. At level 1, he has the **Opportunity** ability, allowing him to attack the enemy monster with the lowest health, focusing on eliminating the opponent's "Support" cards. However, his true magic is unleashed when he reaches level 2, when he acquires his unique ability called "Mimic." monstruo enemigo con la salud más baja, teniendo como foco eliminar a las cartas de "Soporte" del rival, pero, su verdadera magia se desata al llegar al nivel 2, cuando adquiere su habilidad distintiva unica llamada "Mimic".
- **Level 2 Mimic:** This ability is the core of its strategy, and its mechanics are among the most powerful I've seen in a card. I say "one" because there are other very good abilities, but copying a random ability from the second round of battle is simply incredible. Imagine the combinations that can be achieved. Of course, there are limits, and it is not an invincible card, since "Dispel," for example, can remove these abilities in the reverse order in which they were obtained. In short, the last ability copied will be the first to be removed. On the other hand, (Weakening, abilities that have specific targets, Ambush, Weapons training, Flank, Reach, Charge, and Taunt) cannot be copied.
- **Level 6 Reflection Shield:** With this last skill, her arsenal expands, increasing her defense in incredible ways, as its effect protects her from skills that cause indirect damage, such as "Magic Reflect, Thorns, Return Fire, and Blast."
| Level | Maná | Magic Attack | C/C attack | Speed | Shield | Life | Abilities |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 6 | 1 | 1 | 3 | 0 | 4 | Opportunity |
| 2 | 6 | 1 | 1 | 3 | 0 | 4 | Opportunity, Mimic |
| 3 | 6 | 1 | 1 | 3 | 1 | 4 | Opportunity, Mimic |
| 4 | 6 | 1 | 1 | 3 | 1 | 5 | Opportunity, Mimic |
| 5 | 6 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 1 | 5 | Opportunity, Mimic |
| 6 | 6 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 1 | 5 | Opportunity, Mimic, Reflection Shield |
Olivia is a passive damage machine that becomes more and more powerful with each round she survives. In fact, this should be our goal: to keep her on the battlefield for as many rounds as possible. Although she cannot copy all abilities, as I mentioned earlier, the range of possibilities is still enormous. Her duality, being able to inflict magical and/or physical damage, makes her a wild card that you can't afford to leave out of your deck.

This is where she truly shines or fades away. The key with Olivia is to maximize her potential, which means always providing her with "Support" and ensuring that she survives a large number of rounds.
