**Greetings SplinterLovers** 💛
About a week ago, I wrote a post about "Campaign Mode," giving some recommendations on how to get through book number 1 and how to tackle the next level of play, which is "Frontier Format." If you haven't seen it, click [**here**](https://peakd.com/hive -13323/@cieliss/my-journey-completing-the-new-campaign-mode-thoughts-on-what-the-experience-might-be-like-for-new-users-es-en) to read it, which I highly recommend if you want to complete the "Foundations" edition deck and get the best tips for playing.
However, after you read that post, I recommend that you read this one immediately because I am about to reveal one of the best strategies I have found for playing in the "Frontier Format." Of course, I am not saying that this strategy is the best and that you cannot be beaten, because you can, but at least to start with, you can apply it the way I'll explain and with the recommendations I'll give you to have a good winning streak. In fact, by applying what I'll explain here, I've achieved five wins in a row without losing to claim the reward.
***So, if you want to know what it is, keep reading, stay tuned, and don't forget to leave any questions in the comments so we can help you:***

Recommendations for applying the strategy in the "Frontier Format"

Okay, I'll try to get straight to the point by explaining this strategy so that all new users who are having trouble winning and claiming their rewards can do so. I know it can be overwhelming at first, but if you follow what I'm about to tell you to the letter, you'll be able to win some good battles and advance in the leagues, not to mention that you'll be able to earn daily rewards in the shortest time possible. So, let's get started without further delay:
**Recommendations for implementing the strategy**
To implement this strategy properly, starting in the Bronze league, you don't have to do much. You just need to pay attention to a few details and use the same lineup over and over again. Of course, as I mentioned, there will come a time when you will inevitably lose, However, I am sure you will manage to have a good streak. Even so, pay attention to the final recommendations so that when the more complicated games come along, you will know what to do:
• **Keep an eye on the mana cost of each game:** This is the first and most important recommendation, because depending on the mana cost you are dealt, you will be able to play the right cards to fight. At a minimum, in order to apply the strategy, you must take into account a mana cost of 38 points. Later on, you will understand why this amount is necessary.
• **Keep an eye on the rules:** At the beginning, you will always get the "Standard" rule. This is normal, as it is the perfect scenario to apply it because there will be no modifiers. However, if others come up, as I recommended in the previous post, read the modifier carefully and play your cards accordingly, looking at the statistics and types of attacks that are most consistent with the modifiers that come up. This is the key to choosing the perfect deck type for each battle.
• **You must use the "Water Splinter.":** One of the most powerful elements is the "Water Splinter," at least in this edition of "Foundations," so the strategy works solely and exclusively with this one. However, if you encounter a problem like the one I mentioned earlier, remember to read carefully and sometimes observe your opponent's alignments.
***Note: This is more than enough. If you follow these recommendations to the letter, you will increase your chances of winning. These are very simple steps, basically keeping an eye on the mana cost, which I think is crucial for playing the cards we need, as we will see below.***

What cards should be played in the strategy?

This is the most interesting part of the post, as I show the cards and the specific order in which we must play them so that the combination comes out perfectly. If all the above conditions are met, you will be able to win most of the time with this strategy. That's why I placed so much emphasis on mana cost in the previous section. So, let's look at the cards that should be used, how to use them, and why they should be placed there:

• **Marlai Singariel:** This is the "Archon" we will use. Its main ability is to grant +1 magic attack point to all monsters on its side. This will be our "Offensive" pillar.
• **New Beloruc Aegis:** This card with the "Taunt" ability attracts all attacks towards it, and will be placed in the first position on purpose to receive attacks.
• **Colossus Raider:** This card will be in the second position, as its ability called "Reach" works perfectly for attacking from the second position with its +2 melee attack power. Something to add to the offense.
• **Port Guardian:** This card will only serve as a defense when the first two cards have been defeated, since the "offensive" pillar of this strategy lies in the last three cards. The intention of placing them in this order is to protect the back line, which will be responsible for the main attack and consists of three cards.
• **Water Logged Wizard:** This is the first card that makes up the offensive trio. I put it here because it is the weakest in terms of life points, but on the other hand, with the power increase, it gains +2 magic attack points.
• **Lunaki Howler:** This card is neutral splinter and fits perfectly into the strategy, as it has magical attack, which is boosted by the archon to +2 magical attack. It is in this position because it has an additional life point.
• **Great Bear Druid:** This is the last card in the lineup. It has two types of attacks, magic and melee, which is great if it's the only one left standing on our side of the field, not to mention that it has the most health points of the offensive trio. With this card and the other two, you can achieve a total attack power of +6 magic attack points.
With this combination, which focuses on frontal and central defense and rear-line offense, you will be able to win a good number of battles; however, as I mentioned earlier, at some point the battles will become more complicated, so you should follow the recommendations in the previous section in these cases.

##
Conclusion

So, with this strategy, new players will be able to take advantage of it to win some good games in the "Frontier Format." I hope it helps them earn rewards while they continue to learn about the gameplay and the entire ecosystem. I don't have much to start with in the "Frontier Format," but I won the first five games I played very easily, although one of them was with another alienation. Following the recommendations, it's very easy to discern which is the best splinter for the occasion.
