Good day, amazing people of the Hive Blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #hivelearners community. I am so delighted to participate in this week's prompt: holiday season.
Holidays are very necessary, and work without holidays will not be fun. That is why holidays are important for us to relax so that we can be able to function effectively. There is this popular saying, 'All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.'
If there is anyone that always longs for a holiday, it's me. A holiday to me is a period of rest, the period I feel alive to vibe and unite with family and friends. Our body is not wood; it is important that every human should have a period to relax their body. There are some people who work like donkeys; they don’t give themselves rest, and they forget that the moment they give up the ghost, they will mourn you for some time and replace you with someone else.
I love the fact that people who created holidays know how important holidays are to man, that for humans to function well, it is necessary that they are given breaks to rest and continue their hustle. No matter how strong you may feel you are, there will come a time you need a holiday, at least to relieve yourself from stress.
For someone like me, I need more holiday because I am always at work. I hardly have time for myself; basically, I spend most of my day at work. I don’t decide when to work because I am working under someone; holiday is the only free period I have.
I work every day; the body doesn’t get to have enough rest that is required. From the moment I wake up from sleep, my daily hustle starts. I can’t boast of a peaceful 8 hours of sleep because the moment I am home, I continue with my unfinished work at the office.
People who know me too well will tell how much I love holidays; most times they think that I am lazy. No, the very reason why I long for holidays is because I get to give my body a little rest and spend some time with family and friends. I always love it when holidays start on Thursday till Sunday; I will have a lot of time to vibe with family and friends and also rest.
They will always say too much of everything is bad. The holiday in my country is okay; adding more may affect the economy negatively and the structure of the country's source of income. Having too many holidays will not be good for either adults or kids. I can remember the year 2020 during the time of Covid-19, when everyone stayed at home without going out for their daily hustle. It really affected everyone across the world. Everybody in my country was complaining. Too much of everything is very bad; it is better to balance everything.
For me, I don’t buy the idea of too many holidays. Let’s go with the ones we are using already. Too much of everything is bad much holiday will affect; too many holidays our economy negatively.
