Hello CineTV
I want to apologize for the delay in getting this new contest out. I had it mostly written and my computer decided to update and I lost it all. Work and life prevented me from getting it re-written (okay and maybe I was also a little frustrated...).
We all need a laugh sometimes. This week has been pretty rough and it is always nice to find an escape in a movie or tv show that can make us smile and remember that things aren't so bad. I hope that you find a few minutes to find a laugh in the next week.
I want to thank everyone that took time to enter our previous contest! Good luck to you all and I hope to see you again in the next one.
Let's get to the winners!

And let's move on to the new contest!
Favorite Movie That's Black and White
There is something mostalgic and moving when a movie is shot in black and white. Older movies didn't have a choice but now it seems to be a stylistic choice. Some movies used both color and black and white to make a point or to show extreme contrast.
For this contest, I am asking you to select a movie that is fully black and white or uses black and white in part in the film. Give a detailed review and tell us what drew you to selecting it. What does the black and white film do for the movie and what effect does it have on you? What feelings does something being shot in black and white evoke in you? Would this movie have been better without the black and white portions? If there is a color remake of the film, what positives or negatives do you see in that colorized remake?
That's about it, those are the best ideas I could think of to get you started. I look forward to reading your choices! Thanks for being a part of the cinetv community.
If you have any questions or concerns feel free to tag me in the Discord channel (caulderfreeman). Enjoy this week's contest and good luck!
As an added part this topic of black and white reminded me of one of my favorite comic strips, Calvin and Hobbes.
