Cinnamon Cup Coffee, with the sponsorship of @OCD, is hosting a Coffee Contest in celebration of International Coffee Day 2023.

Coffee plays a vital role in the daily lives of many, and every year, 1st October, International Coffee Day, is the day when coffee gets the focus it deserves.

Today, there will be celebrations around the world that highlight and demonstrate coffee traditions and usages. Many will explore the history of coffee and there might be an emphasis on coffee being a leading commodity and some of the day-to-day challenges and adversities of coffee farmers.

Through this community, we've read endless stories about coffee; From large coffee farms and traders to personal stories about private coffee farms in the author's backyards. Different methods of preparation and consumption and the celebration of coffee traditions have been passed down to different generations.

I'm looking for compelling pensive stories, that are nicely presented. Personal photos spark my interest, and I'm looking for concise content with a creative streak, that touches the heart. I'm against AI content and I'm not a fan of AI art for this contest. I'll quickly scan the entries to see that all guidelines are met — If they are, I'll "listen to posts" using the PeakD function, and if I like it, I'll smile and read it twice. 😉

I'm looking for original stories with heart. I enjoy reading posts that showcase the author's connection to coffee with engaging text and personal photos. I always check the comments section, and smile when I see genuine engagement! I'm looking forward to reading reflective stories that honour the community's guidelines.
