Hello Everyone,

Welcome to Week 8 of our #SPILLTHEBEANS Contest. The past weeks have been excellent, and last week we presented a vague blog prompt and you all created amazing stories. Well done all! Thank you to everyone who has participated so far, and we invite those of you who might be thinking about it to join in.

TOPIC: "The Fight for Coffee"

A new political leader has taken control of your country and it's starting to feel like a dictatorship. In his latest speech, the politician announced that coffee is now banned and will be considered contraband from here on out. You are unwilling to give up coffee. Tell us a story about the situation. Some ideas might include: A) defying the dictatorship and leading the coffee resistance. B) hiding coffee products in your home when the military comes to confiscate them. C) Creating counter-propaganda against the coffee restriction (this could include self-made artwork) D) any other scenario of your choosing that relates to the situation.

Remember, it's a "Creative Writing Contest" - Be imaginative and original. Cover all the elements that make a good story. Have Fun!
