Hace dos días se llevó en París una velada importante de UFC, particularmente la estaba esperando debido a la importancia del evento, ya que de esta pelea, inclusive de una que viene en Octubre del mismo peso, podría salir el próximo retador al título que sostiene el actual campeón Khamzat Chimaev. Pero más allá de la importancia, lo que más llamaba mi atención era el duelo de strikers. Se pronosticaba bastante intensidad y posible nockaut, sin embargo, este último no llegó. Pero la intensidad sí la hubo, y más por parte del local que del brasileño Borralho que no pudo durante 25 minutos encontrar de lleno a su rival. Imavov fue superior, y es que su habilidad para contraatacar lo vuelve un striker muy peligroso. Aun así, Imavov se vio en algunos problemas cuando Borralho recortaba la distancia, y aunque era el lugar de mayor peligro logro salir ileso, pero allí fue donde recibió más golpes de parte del brasileño, lo que me hace pensar, que para otro striker la única forma de vencer a Imavov es a esa distancia. Chimaev ha demostrado ser extremadamente bueno a ras de lona, pero de pie no es el mejor, y esa es su gran debilidad, por lo que allí si le veo oportunidad a Imavov en caso de una potencial pelea. En cuanto a Borralho, el brasileño hizo lo que pudo, y a pesar de todo el hype que venía arrastrando demostró que es un peleador muy versátil, pero su juego puede quedarse corto si se encuentra a alguien mejor. De mi parte quería que ganara, pero no logro superar al francés. Me decepciono un poco la entrevista al final del combate porque indico que no tenía motivación, eso es de perdedores, y no concuerda con todo lo que gira a su alrededor. Ahora solo queda esperar, pero esta división de peso donde reina el lobo puede seguir trayendo algunos combates interesantes.
