Hoy quiero compartir la intensa experiencia que vivimos en el Torneo Hopex de Calistenia Freestyle. Los muchachos del Clan-Shimazu y yo dimos absolutamente todo; fue una jornada cargada de adrenalina, pasión y aprendizaje. Mi participación fue en la categoría Amateur, y la verdad, mi enfrentamiento fue extremadamente reñido. Entré a la barra con el corazón, ejecutando las combinaciones de freestyle que había estado practicando con tanta disciplina y esfuerzo. Aunque terminé siendo eliminado, me voy satisfecho por el desempeño y por haber cumplido el reto personal de darlo todo en la barra.
Today I want to share the intense experience we lived in the Hopex Freestyle Calisthenia Tournament. The guys from the Clan-Shimazu and I gave absolutely everything; it was a day full of adrenaline, passion and learning. My participation was in the Amateur category, and the truth is, my confrontation was extremely close. I entered the bar with my heart, performing the freestyle combinations I had been practicing with so much discipline and effort. Although I ended up being eliminated, I leave satisfied with the performance and for having fulfilled the personal challenge of giving it my all at the bar.

Luego, presenciamos el poder de nuestros compañeros. José Valera compitió en la categoría Semi-Pro y dejó a todos impresionados. Su estrategia fue demoledora: un espectáculo de Only Statics. Then, we witness the power of our companions. José Valera competed in the Semi-Pro category and left everyone impressed. His strategy was devastating: a show by Only Statics. He showed us absolute control, chaining movements of very high level such as the iron and the Front Lever with spectacular cleanliness. Although he was eliminated in his first round, his performance was a declaration of intent.

Finalmente, Jesús Palermo también se enfrentó a la categoría Semi-Pro. Su batalla fue, sin duda, la más difícil. Jesús combinó sus mejores movimientos de Freestyle con transiciones de Estáticos, luchando con garra hasta el final. Su rival demostró ser superior ese día, logrando la eliminación. A pesar de no llevarnos el podio en esta ocasión, la sensación que nos queda no es de frustración, sino de motivación pura. Hemos visto el nivel y sabemos dónde enfocar nuestro entrenamiento. El Clan-Shimazu regresa a Puerto Cabello más fuerte, listo para entrenar y con el firme objetivo de conquistar el podio en las próximas competiciones de freestyle. ¡Esto es solo el comienzo!
Finally, Jesús Palermo also faced the Semi-Pro category. His battle was, without a doubt, the most difficult. Jesus combined his best Freestyle moves with Static transitions, fighting with claw until the end. His rival proved to be superior that day, achieving the elimination. Despite not taking the podium this time, the feeling we have left is not of frustration, but of pure motivation. We have seen the level and we know where to focus our training. The Clan-Shimazu returns to Puerto Cabello stronger, ready to train and with the firm goal of conquering the podium in the next freestyle competitions. This is just the beginning!
