Until recently, if someone had told me that I would spend a whole day at the beach and come back feeling happy and completely relaxed, I wouldn't have believed a word of it. However, even I surprised myself because that's exactly what happened: I went to the beach, and I was happy there.
The scorching sun, along with the sand that sticks to your skin irritated by the sun and salt water, were the main reasons I hated going to the beach.
Fortunately, this year brought with it a change in attitude towards life, and the things that used to bother me and cause discomfort became my allies: the sun, sea, and sand were the perfect backdrop for my photographs. In addition, I allowed myself to enjoy the sea and the healing power of bathing in the waters of the Caribbean.
So, looking at life from a more grateful and optimistic perspective made me happy and allowed me to find charm in a place I used to hate visiting and now count the minutes until I can return.

¡Quién me iba a decir que iba a ser feliz en la playa!
Hasta hace poco si alguien me llega a decir que iba a pasar un día completo en la playa e iba a retornar llena de felicidad y completamente relajada, no le hubiese creído ni una sola palabra. Sin embargo hasta yo misma me sorprendí pues así fue: fui a la playa, y fui feliz ahí.
El Sol ardiente, junto a la arena que se te impregna en la piel irritada por el Sol y el agua salada eran las principales razones por las que odiaba ir a la playa.
Afortunadamente, este año trajo consigo un cambio de actitud hacia la vida, las cosas que antes me molestabsn y eran motivo de incomodidad se conviertrieron en mis aliados: Sol, mar y arena fueron el escenario perfecto para mis fotografías. Además, me permití disfrutar del mar y de la capacidad sanadora que tiene bañarse en las aguas del Caribe.
Así pues, mirar la vida desde una perspectiva más agradecida y optimista me hizo ser feliz y encontrar encanto en un lugar que odiaba visitar y que ahora cuento los minutos para volver.
