A greeting to all the music enthusiasts who are coming together to participate in the #ThreeTuneTuesday initiative created by @ablaze. On this occasion I would like to bring as a suggestion three young artists with whom I feel deeply identified.
Over time, the ways of making music have changed. Artists have been finding a way to express themselves through their songs being more and more sincere. Something I look for in the songs is to connect with the meaning of the lyrics, and the selection that I bring today contains so much truth in its verses that poe moments the songs make me shudder.
Conan is perhaps the least known of the artists I will mention. She started to become relevant on Tik Tok with the song Heather, which talks about unrequited love in a brutally honest way. People Watching is one of my favorite songs. Here this young singer-songwriter expresses the feeling of keeping watching everyone around him being happy and finding love, while he just keeps waiting. Ironically the song seeks to have an optimistic reception, which is evidenced above all in the chord sequence and in the production of the single.
Olivia Rodrigo - favorite crime
The influence of Taylor Swift on the discography of this young woman can be noticed from a distance, but there is a care in the selection of the palbras in Olivia Rodrigo that make her an authentic singer for our generation. And it's not that our whole life is about dealing with anxiety, comparisons and love dramas, but seeing all these themes reflected in music through a clear and fresh language is something that is appreciated (and that clearly works for the market). In the case of Favorite Crime, I think it's one of the most underrated songs in this discography, and instead it's among my favorites. Here the artist talks ruthlessly about the fact of not being chosen despite having given everything (even when the conditions were not terrible for ourselves).
Billie doesn't need many introductions. After sweeping the Grammys with her first studio album, we were all waiting to see how this artist's career would continue. Somehow I feel proud to see how Billie has made her music a safe place for experimentation and self-discovery. Every time his lyrics become more personal, without fear of telling heartbreaking and dark stories. Male Fantasy has a little bit of all that. It is the set of experiences that takes place when not feeling wanted and being used by their peers. He talks about the panorama that causes the masculine ideal and how it affects those who try to reach it although in their essence they cannot. And finally, the maximum point of humanity is found in the last vero, where he confesses that he is incapable of hating that person who hurt him. Without a doubt, Billie is one of the artists I hope to grow up with for the rest of my life.
Bonus Track
Finally I would like to mention Sabrina Carpenter, who started to receive a lot more attention after her hit "Espresso", but she was actually putting out very good music for a long time before. An example of this is the song "emails I can't send", which lends its name to his previous studio album. This song is heartbreaking and there is no other word that can describe it better. It is a direct letter to a neglectful father and how his attitudes have directly affected the development of the artist. It is an open and uncomfortable confession, so it could not be missing from this list.

Un saludo para todos los entusiastas de la música que se reúnen a participar en la iniciativa #ThreeTuneTuesday creada por @ablaze. En esta ocasión quisera traer como sugerencia tres artistas jóvenes con los que me siento profundamente identificado.
Con el tiempo los modos de hacer la música han ido cambiando. Los artistas han ido encontrando la forma de expresarse a través de sus canciones siendo cada vez más sinceros. Algo con lo que busco en las canciones es conectar con el significado de las letras, y la selección que hoy traigo contiene tanta verdad en sus versos que poe momentos las canciones hacen estremecer.
Conan es quizás el menos conocido de los artistas que mencionaré. Comenzó a volverse relevante en Tik Tok con la canción Heather, que habla sobre un amor no correspondido de una forma brutalmente honesta. Sin embargo es People Watching una de mis canciones favoritas. Aquí este joven cantautor expresa el sentimiento de mantenerse observando a todos a su alrededor siendo felices y encontrando el amor, mientras él solo sigue esperando. Irónicamente la canción busca tener una recepción optimista, cosa que se evidencia sobre todo en la secuencia de acordes y en la producción del single.
Olivia Rodrigo - favorite crime
La influencia de Taylor Swift en la discografía de esta joven puede notarse a la distancia, pero hay un cuidado en la selección de las palbras en Olivia Rodrigo que la hacen una cantante auténtica para nuestra generación. Y no es que toda nuestra vida se trate de lidiar con la ansiedad, las comparaciones y los dramas amorosos, pero el ver todos estos temas reflejados en la música a través de un lenguaje claro y fresco es algo que se agradece (y que claramente funciona para el mercado). En el caso de favorite crime, pienso que es una de las canciones más infravaloradas de esta discografía, y en cambio figura entre mis favoritas. Aquí la artista habla despiadadamente del hecho de no ser elegidos a pesar de haberlo dado todo (incluso cuando las condiciones no eran faorables para nosotros mismos).
Para Billie no son necesarias muchas introducciones. Tras arrasar en los Grammy con su primer álbum de estudio, todos esperábamos a ver cómo seguiría la carrera de esta artista. De alguna manera siento orgullo al ver cómo Billie ha hecho de su música un lugar seguro para la experimentación y el autodescubrimiento. Cada vez sus letras se vuelven más personales, sin miedo a contar historias desgarradoras y obscuras. Male Fantasy tiene un poco de todo eso. Es el conjunto de experiencias que tiene lugar al no sentirse deseada y ser usada por sus compañeros. Habla del panorama que causa el ideal masculino y cómo afecta a quienes intentan llegar a él aunque en su esencia no pueden. Y para finalizar, el punto máximo de humanidad se encuentra en el último vero, donde confiesa que es incapaz de odiar a esa persona que le hizo daño. Sin dudas Billie es una de las artistas con las que espero crecer por el resto de mi vida.

Por último quisiera mencionar a Sabrina Carpenter, quien comenzó a recibir mucha más atención tras su hit "Espresso", pero que en realidad estuvo sacando muy buena música desde mucho tiempo antes. Un ejemplo de esto es la canción "emails i can't send", que le da nombre a su álbum de estudio anterior. Esta canción es desgarradora y no hay otra palabra que pueda describirla mejor. Es una carta directa hacia un padre negligente y cómo sus actitudes han afectado directamente en el desarrollo de la artista. Es una confesión abierta e incómoda, así que no podía faltar en esta lista.
