Hello everyone! I have been number one on the Rising Star leaderboard for quite a while now. It is a very exciting game to play on the Hive blockchain and it is all about music. You can do so many things, even create your own record as an NFT and earn on it. How do you become number one on the leaderboard in the game Rising Star? There are so many different things to do in Rising Star. I do not even do all the things in the game, but I will show you in this post what I do play in the game that made me reach the number one spot. Everyone plays the game differently. It is not hard to reach the number one spot on the leaderboard, and anyone can do it! I came to the game much later than a lot of players and still did it!
There are many things you must do in order to reach the number one spot. Like I said, anyone can do it however, I urge you to start playing hard and try to obtain that first place spot as I did! I would be happy just to be in the top 10 in the game really. You can play Rising Star however you like and try different ways to get to the top; these are just all the things that I did my way to get there. You can arrive there many different ways though.
At this moment I am currently opening up Rising Star packs! This is a great way to increase your unique cards when pulling a card you did not have. I have a unique card giveaway below of my record "Gold Disc battles. Check it out below and you can win a unique card for your own collection!
Below is the current top 5 on Rising Star as of 9-4-25. As you can see there are many factors to determine your final ranking score. I am lacking in weekly minutes played recently so I need to improve that part. You can see that from your arrived total score, 89% is from unique cards you own. Total cards is 5%. Total IM is 5% and weekly minutes is only 1% so I am still okay even though I have been slacking on my minutes! My score before Gold discs is 270,882 and after the gold disc is 359,260. I will talk about those shiny gold discs below as well!
Why climb high on the leaderboard? Check out how much Starbits I get for my missions! It is a lot! The higher you go the more Starbits you will earn, plus I have already finished these missions so the ego is higher now. Also, it will reset in an hour from now and will be much lower. I am still going to work on my ego next up though.
Buying and Opening up Rising Star NFT packs is one of the many ways that I became number one. I constantly try to open up as many packs as I can! Especially around the beginning of the month when brand new cards come out. I actually just pulled an awesome Legendary card right now that I have been looking for, as a unique card to me! You need as many unique cards as you can possibly get to reach a high level on the leaderboard. You will also pull a lot of cards that will increase your IM and total count card which will help your score rise up on the leaderboard.
Opening up packs is a fun thing to do, to open them up and see what you are going to get! Also, it is very cheap compared to many other crypto games! You can get 1,000 packs for only 20 million Starbits which is only around $11 currently! You will earn Starbits in game running your many missions. I use what I earn in-game and I also invest from other crypto that I have at the moment. I am opening up 1.000 packs right now while writing this and I am excited about the Legendary card that I did not have and just pulled! An Oozie L128!
Check it out below, I am writing and opening up packs and pulled him! So awesome! I was looking for that card for a while now! For 1,000 packs it costs about 60 in Hive if you prefer to pay that way. Just head on over to Beeswap HERE and convert your roughly 60 Hive to Starbits which should roughly be about 20 million Starbits. An average cost of only $11.40 currently as Hive is sitting at .19 right now. That is crazy cheap for 1,000 NFTs! You have a chance to pull a Legendary card as well as I just did!
There have been times that I open up 1,000 packs and pull a few Legendary cards and there have been times that I open up a few thousand and do not pull one Legendary card. It is all RNG baby! Good luck on your pack openings!
Writing on Hive about Rising Star and opening! What a reward! So lucky this morning I am!
I also worked hard on completing all my missions. You need to be always working on your map, completing all those missions and moving up to all the different areas of the map. Your level will increase the higher you keep going up and unlocking all the different areas on the map. I am currently at a level 1178 and have unlocked all the areas of the map. I used the XP Boost cards to help me go faster through these! They are available for purchase on the market. They really did increase the speed and help me double and triple up on all the time spent reaching higher levels and unlocking more and more missions to play! It went by a lot faster when I got some.

My current missions and map below. You will want to keep your ego at o% but mine is currently high since last month when I opened up over 20K packs trying to get some of the new Legendary cards! I still need to pull the new Legendary cards that just came out this month but will eventually get them, in the meantime opening packs will raise your ego so I will be working on getting it back to 0 as well, it will just take a little time though. You need to keep your ego at 0% in order to get the full potential Starbits from your missions.
I did a lot of shopping on the market to obtain older cards, cards that are unique to you to raise your unique card count as well as your IM and total card count. You can buy in- game on Rising Star or go to Hive NFT's HERE You can buy cheap rare cards to help with your IM, and of course buy all the unique cards to you. You only need one of each! Whatever you cannot find on the market, you can go into the Rising Star Discord and trade with other players to obtain those special NFT's! I came late to Rising Star so still do not have all of the cards, there are many that are 30 Starpro so I will not ever be buying those ones of course. After I did all those things above, I then was at the top of the leaderboard and recently there have been the addition of gold discs! They will help your rating on the leaderboard drastically improve! My current score on the leaderboard is 270,882 and after the gold discs I have added, which is 246 discs it went to a total score of 359,260.
You can bid on gold discs in the Rising Star pawn shop. I try to get a gold disc every day that I can. Don't forget to get your unique cards in the pawn shop, Hotel Buskeria and also by blending cards. I also crafted a ton of cards so you can make your own in the game under Custom shop in game as shown below.

The gold discs became instantly popular when they came out due to the way they made your score rise on the leaderboard so much! I was instantly obsessed myself. I even made a record and named it after the gold disc frenzy! I also gave away a ton of them in giveaways when they were at an all-time high of 12-13 million Starbits for one gold disc. Now, I see one on the market for 2.5 million Starbits which is still good, now that the initial craze is over, lol!
