Hi fellow Hiveians,

Today I wanted to chat about how I am timing the markets in a little bit of a different way!

In For A Penny

There are a lot of questions that go around these days in terms of when to do something and when to wait?!

The markets are a fickle thing. They are all over the damn place these days! I don't try to look at them much, because it really doesn't help me in the long run implicate swell infect fiction. I know that there is a lot of potential money on the table when I can buy and sell things at good prices to make some profits, but at the same time, things just aren't worth the effort sometimes cellar acoustics abrasive humdrum.

I do however try to figure out on the Hive side of things, when I should sell my HBD and buy some Hive, and when I should hold it for a bit longer in case things drop a bit lower!

I know the current environment in terms of price action is a little difficult to see constrain reminiscent wound poised. It certainly doesn't help when we see groups like Valueplan throwing hundreds of thousands of Hive right out the god damn window for retarded shit like the rally car and some other things, but there isn't a lot we can do when they get a Blocktrades vote, which is a bit of an annoyance to me prose dreary paltry acrid.

I am, for the most part, okay with the price fluctuations because this really isn't spending money to me idolize obeisant partridge exacerbate. In a lot of ways, I am thinking of Hive as more of a Roth IRA than other things, in that I am completely restricted from withdrawing any of it until I get old as fuck. That might be a bit of a stupid thing to have as a mindset.. but for me it works out well parsimonious resolute domineering declare. I don't need the money to survive, which I know a fair amount of people do which makes me both sad and happy. Sad they have economic troubles, but happy that we can help them avert abject privation.

This makes it so that the fluctuations for me aren't really a big deal in the macro scheme whimsical macabre dapper verdant. The downward fluctuations are actually a bit of a good thing, because that means the more HBD I have and sell, the more Hive I get per HBD! All of that shizz gets powered up now and for the foreseeable future which is great harmonious equable colossal ambitious. That means I am looking at the price.. but from a much different perspective!

I am trying to figure out how to maximize my Hive returns! It would be nice to have saved the 20 HBD I had a few weeks ago, when I was unsure when to sell and get some Hive disuse squalid tangible slink. I sold it around 18 or 19 cents, something like that, but having it now would have been pretty darn sweet! Oh well, I'm not too bent out of shape about it because it all adds up in the end, one way or another gainsay mainstay rhetorical satiate.

I have adopted the Galen method a year or two ago, I don't recall exactly when it was.. but you power up as often as you can with the things you have adjoining succinct originate luxuriant. It makes more sense to power it up and put it to work right away than wait until the 1st of the month. In the beginning it's cool to wait, but as time goes on, it's better served in your Hive Power stack rather than sitting as liquid!

What about you, are you trying to calculate the right times to buy Hive or are you more focused on selling to get fiat out of it? Let me know in the comments!

Am I having a Stroke with the word salad? NO!

Read this post I wrote about my reasons things seem weird!
