I'm not entirely sure what's going on this week, but we're getting daily news about free games being given away on different platforms. This time, I'm going to tell you about one that's being given away on Steam and will be available for a limited time until November 1st, so you practically have two days from the date of this post to claim it.
It's Space Pilgrim 3, a game I remember seeing for free on the Epic Games Store a couple of months ago, and I think it's quite interesting. It has three installments, but honestly, I couldn't tell you the plot of any of those three games even if you held a gun to my head. The important thing is that it's being given away. Free
This is a title that could be considered an indie game. In fact, if you know what game engine it uses, you'll instantly recognize that it's made with RPG Maker, one of the simplest game engines available, which prioritizes not only 90s-style pixel art but also numerous scenes with dialogue or small characters that drive the plot forward.
This is the kind of game I would play, although to be honest, its aesthetic is quite generic. I wouldn't play it for anything other than the plot. Episode 1 is permanently free on Steam, and I think Episode 2 is the one they were giving away for free a few months ago, so with this one, I think we complete the trilogy. And apparently, there's a fourth chapter yet to be released.
I'm not going to get too excited because I don't think I'll finish it or get too immersed in the story, but it's still good to see that Steam is offering some good titles, especially some that most players don't know about. It's quite curious that they don't know about it because this game, as well as its other installments, has a handful of... The reviews are quite positive, and it's also a game that apparently can be completed in just a couple of hours, so there's no reason not to try it sometime.
If you're wondering how to claim this game, all you have to do is have an active Steam account or create one to claim it on the game's official website. It's basically the same as on Epic Games, and I think it's the easiest way. Then, to play it, you just need to have the Steam launcher installed, and you can download it to your device. PC
Personally, I don't expect much from this game, and I think they've been a bit lax with the free games they give out each month. But hey, I don't think it's good to complain about getting free games. It's better to be grateful and hope that next month, Epic Games will take us on and throw in a AAA game for us. Maybe we should stop being stingy and start buying games and supporting developers.

No sé muy bien qué es lo que está pasando esta semana pero tenemos noticias diarias de juegos gratis que están dando en diferentes plataformas, esta vez le voy a traer uno que están dando precisamente en steam y que será por tiempo limitado hasta el primero de noviembre, así que prácticamente tienen dos días a partir de la salida de este post para reclamarlo
Se trata de space pilgrim 3, un juego que recuerdo haber visto también gratis en epic store hace un par de meses y creo que es bastante curioso, tiene tres entregas pero la verdad es que no podría decirte la trama de ninguna de esos tres juegos ni aunque me pusieras una pistola en la cabeza, lo importante es que lo van a estar dando gratis
Es un título que podríamos decir que entra en la categoría de los juegos independientes, de hecho si sabes qué motor es de videojuegos notarás al instante que está hecho con RPG maker, cuál es uno de los motores de videojuegos más sencillos que hay y que priorizan no solo el pixel art noventero sino que también muchas escenas con diálogos o pequeños personajes que empujan alguna trama
Es el estilo de juego que yo jugaría aunque para serle sincero la estética de este sí está bastante genérico, no jugaría por más que nada la trama, el episodio 1 está gratuito en steam de forma permanente y el episodio 2 creo que es el que estaban dando gratis hace algunos meses, así que con este creo que completamos la trilogía Y al parecer hay un cuarto capítulo aún por salir
No voy a emocionarme demasiado porque no creo que vaya a completarlo ni vaya a sumergirme en esta historia pero aún así está bien ver que steam está dando algunos buenos títulos y sobre todo algunos que la mayoría de los jugadores no conoce, es bastante curioso que no lo conozcan porque este videojuego así como sus otras entregas tienen un puñado de reseñas bastante positivas y además es un juego que al parecer se completa en tan solo un par de horas por lo que no hay ninguna razón como para no probarlo alguna vez
Si se están preguntando en cómo pueden reclamar este juego lo único que tienen que hacer es tener una cuenta en steam activa o crearse una para poder reclamarlo en la página oficial del juego, es básicamente lo mismo que en epic games y creo que es lo más sencillo de todo, después para jugarlo solo tienes que tener instalado el launcher de steam y ya podrás descargarlo a tu PC
Por mi parte no espero mucho de este juego y creo que sí en mi opinión han estado un poco flojos con los videojuegos gratis que dan mes a mes, pero oigan creo que no sería bueno quejarse de que nos den videojuegos gratis, es mejor agradecer y esperar que el próximo mes sí o epic games se ponga de nuestro lado y deje sueldo por ahí algún videojuego triple a para nosotros, quizás dejar de ser un tacaño y empezar a comprar y apoyar a los desarrolladores
