Hello trainers!

We're continuing to expand my Holozing fan-lore after a short break. Well, actually, I've been working all week and have little time to post on Hive beyond my normal gaming schedule, but we're going to touch on another topic that I find interesting.

We're continuing to talk about that stage or spin-off set in the future (as the devs have been thinking from the beginning). Holozing is going to be set in a time when it seems that technology is more or less advanced, so I wanted to include that period of time and not just talk about how creatures began to interact with humans.

I've been tossing around some interesting ideas. If you remember, I was saying that my lore is made up of two timelines: the past, when humans learned to take advantage of creatures, and the future, where it seems the creatures are extinct and we can only interact with them through virtual reality headsets.

From there, I think there are many stories to tell, from how the creatures disappeared to the mystery of why. The lenses have certain strange abilities in the humans who use them. I don't want to drag Ubisoft into this, but it could be very similar to the Animus machine in Assassin's Creed, where we can even interact with our ancestors and see their memories.

The first thing that comes to mind is to play with the concept of "living memory." In this future, the vestiges of the past are no longer in books or ruins, but in holographic capsules that literally allow us to walk through the memories of bygone eras. Imagine that the protagonists of the spin-off (I don't have their names yet, sorry) are explorers of these holographic archives,

and then, for some strange reason, the memories begin to distort, taking on a life of their own, as if history itself didn't want to remain frozen. This opens up a brutal range of possibilities, as we could include everything from fighting "echoes" from the past with these creatures or with those who consider themselves their protectors, to exploring them to find clues about the creatures and why they no longer exist in the future.

Another brutal concept is that of floating cities anchored to alternate realities. The world of Holozing already had a strange feel to it, but in the future, we can push the concepts a bit further. If we had elemental islands before, we can now create these cities powered by powers very similar to those we see in creatures of the past.

Just the concept of living memory and floating cities, I think, is quite interesting to set up in this future, and I'd have HOURS of theories and content to talk about them and how they work, all of course supported by the energy, or rather, the powers of the Holozing creatures, which are nowhere to be found in that future.

A good part of what's interesting about this era is knowing where these creatures are. The idea is that we go from the past to the future in the story. That's how we grow fond of the creatures in the past, discover their protectors, and at the perfect moment, BOOM, everything goes away and we find ourselves in the future, somewhat gray, where there's no trace of them.

I want to know what you think of this idea. Let me know in the comments what else we can add to it because, apart from everything else, This set of ideas would also like to link the story as I had been doing at the beginning with the main characters and how the Holozing creatures work.
