We're back for another week with the free games on the Epic Store. Those games that come out every week and always give away something that players like. They're based on ratings so they don't give away carbon, but rather genuinely make players discover new games that haven't had much exposure and revive them.

I had been anticipating some AAA titles, but it seems we're going to stick again with some well-chosen indie games that few people know about. I'm not complaining at all because in the end they're free and we'll be able to get them just by having an Epic account, something that seems like a real gift to me. If you don't have an account, create one and Ready

This week they're giving away Strange Horticulture. Don't ask me if the game is any good, because I'm only just getting to know it. From what I've seen on Steam, it has some pretty good reviews. It's also at that point where it's a game that's strange enough to pique my curiosity, and who knows, maybe I'll ever play it.

What I do know is that I'm going to add it to my library. Apparently, we play as a regular plant vendor at one stage of the story. Our goal is to grow our business, discover all the strange stories of our customers, and create new herbs to sell. It's a good idea, to be honest. Premise

I think the graphics are what attract me most to the game. It's a mix of gothic and pixel art. Most of the time, we'll be observing and evaluating plants, so I lean more toward a stylized graphic style than a realistic one. In my opinion, there's much more to see.

You inherit a horticulture shop in the enigmatic town of Undermere. Customers come in with strange problems, and your job is to identify which plant they need. The curious thing is that each herb seems to have its own personality: colors, shapes, smells, even side effects. On the surface, I think it's more of a graphic adventure, but with a touch of management.

A simple premise and an execution that I'd call elegant, it manages to make you feel part of a small but profound world. It's every indie gamer's dream: small worlds, but well-developed so we can stay as long as we need, exploring every little detail. If you've ever dreamed of being a botanical detective in a town full of secrets, well there you have it.

It's weird, but hey, we're not going to say no to a free game, especially when I think it looks really interesting. So, I'll clarify that to claim it, you only need an Epic account. Go to the game's page and claim it. In about 5 minutes, I claimed mine and I already have it in my library to play. So, do the same. Yours

Remember that you have a limited time to do this; other free games will come later, but for now, I ask that you go and take advantage of this opportunity to have it. Who knows, maybe we'll try it in the future.
