It's been a while since I posted here, and the truth is I haven't had much to say about this development in recent months. But with a bit of creativity and considering what's been happening lately in the indie video game scene, I think it's time to talk about how Holozing can benefit from this. Since its inception, I've always seen it as something a little beyond independent development, but I think this approach will be useful in a couple of ways.

There's a very special energy in independent games, a game that tells us that the title exists because someone else, driven by passion, decided to make it. There's no corporation behind it, no development trapped in enormous budgets and overly safe formulas.

I think a game born on a blockchain should always aspire to be part of this group of video games that are released daily and that are currently at the forefront of the conversation.

In fact, I see Holozing's approach as very similar to other independent video games that have come out even this year. There's no giant marketing campaign or millions of dollars for development, just a community that supports it from the ground up and that... Walking alongside its creators

I don't know how much this initiative's approach will change in the coming months or years. We've already seen that the NFT scene has been pretty quiet for almost two years, and I think that if a video game truly wanted to stand out, it would run a campaign much more focused on humility and embracing that indie nature that can boost it in a field where large studios often stumble.

Of course, all video games will be limited by their budgets, but for example, some games can create a playable demo for a couple of thousand dollars, with the promise that if players like it, they can continue updating and adding more features. I think there are plenty of examples in today's market, but even so, it seems like a sensible and logical strategy for how Holozing is built on the blockchain.

We'll talk a bit about what those gameplay mechanics or that independent approach could be so that Holozing can regain momentum and join the ranks of the video games people are waiting for on all platforms. We could consider changes to the combat system or the system of Exploration depends on the creators' approach, but I think we should focus on giving it a unique aesthetic.

Because the community is there, and in fact, it's already being leveraged quite a bit, supported by all the talented artists on Hive. That's a huge asset, and for game developers, it's a goldmine for promotion and for finding ideas to implement in their titles.

There's an hour behind every independent development project, and I think that's perhaps what this game has been lacking a bit in recent months. To open up the discussion, I'd like the content creators here to share some ideas on how to most effectively promote Holozing, because promoting Holozing is promoting Hive.
