After discovering his song "Tempted" on tiktok a few years ago, I became a fan of his work and decided to follow him for his unique style which seemed like a combination of dancehall, hip pop and RnB so when I heard he would be realizing an album last year, I just knew I had to stream it by any means necessary. Excited is part of the niche album and just like the name implies, the song is centered on positive emotions. Here the artist describes how his very presence is enough to make the lady intoxicated with excitement followed by a series of overwhelming series. Sometimes these thrills even closely mimics an illness because of how spontaneous they are but thanks to the touch of the singer, these spikes in emotions are completely hijacked and turned into ecstasy. The song carries weight even though it doesn't hold much meaning other than physical intimacy between two lovers but one things for sure Always trust J'calm to never disappoint.
