I was going through my email and found our an important update from the Care Health Company. Care Health is a company from where I have taken the Health Insurance for my family. I have taken 2 insurances, one for my parents and other for me, my wife and my daughter. The Care Health Insurance is for myself, my wife and my daughter.

If you also don't have a Health insurance then I would suggest you to take one. I also have a office Health insurance but since layoffs are happening everywhere the office Health insurance might not be sufficient. Or to be on a safer side because if you layoff the office insurance will lapse from that day itself. And that's why having your own health insurance is very much required. And that's why I have taken personal health insurance along with my office one.
Now coming back to the update, the Care Health have introduced the health exclusion hospital that means the hospital which are in exclusion list will not treat you cashless. Also they will not give claims if the hospitalization is planned. For unplanned, like accident or emergency you can get claims but not for planned. So it is an important update and that's why we should not ignore any email from the health insurer.
I know it's hard to track each and every update from the health insurer. And that's why whenever the hospitalization is required which is planned we should go through the updated terms and condition along with the hospital inclusion list. And then along with that we should also see the room rent and other things so that we will not get surprise at the discharge.
Always try to get cashless treatment because these health insurer company doesn't give whole amount when you claim after the discharge and also they ask f9r a lot of papers which is extra headache.
