There are times whete you think why to Hage multiple cards whereas there are times where you want to have multiple cards to check if you are eligible for the discounts in the Sale or not. I have got SBI credit card last year when I wanted to buy a IFB Washing Machine and I was getting a huge discount on SBI Card. I didn't had and people whom I was asking, they are also not keen on giving it because they either had low limit or they were using themselves.

So for the festive sale I have applied for the SBI SimolyClick Card which was costing for Rs 499 + GST. But it was giving some discounts on the sale. The reward were not that great so I just kept it for festive sale only. Till now I have not purchased anything and I was thinking of closing the card as I was paying Rs 500+ without any benefits.

But then I have used the SBI card to order the Laptop which I have purchased recently. I will talk about the laptop in separate post. I have saved more than 10% while buying the laptop. The cost of laptop was around Rs 49K, then I have got around 6K discount from the SBI credit card and then another 5K discount on the exchange of the old laptop. So the effective rate was around 38K, which was actually a very good deal.

I know in the sale the cost of some items are increased but there is a price history where you can check the price of that items from the last few months so that you can get the idea if it was increase or not. For me, the cost of the laptop was lowest in last 12 months and that's why with the credit card discount, it was a great deal.
