Cryptocurrency has the potential to provide a significant opportunity for many people. Prior to my cryptocurrency and trading journey, I did not enjoy the majority of things I did online. However, I learned about the potential to learn and grow and even earn from cryptocurrency, which gave me a reason to go to the Internet every day. I also believe that learning to trade is a skill everyone should learn. This skill provides many options, especially for people in places where they struggle to find jobs to support themselves.
I remember what a friend of mine use to say: "trading will literally feed you". I did not realize the meaning of that until I learned to trade myself. At the time I started learning, I had yet to earn very much money and was far away from my target, but even in that time, I have experienced significant developments in my life and mindset. The little progress I have made is already becoming valuable, and it made me think about what I might have accomplished if I learned this skill a year ago. What if learning to trade was part of the curriculum taught in schools? I believe many youths in Ghana and all of Africa could use it to develop a plan to become financially independent. Perhaps it's something that most governments also don't people to achieve, to gain financial freedom.
But most are prevented from wanting to learn and grow due to several factors. Technical issues, lack of understanding cryptocurrencies, a fear of scams. Many people we've introuduced Hive to simply don't they want to due to how they see it to be too complicated. All these things prevent many individuals from taking advantage of the opportunities trading can provide. The reality is that if you have patience and a desire to learn and develop consistency as you trade, trading can provide a conduit towards earning income that the traditional job market cannot.
Learning to trade is not just about making money, but learning the discipline to be successful, how to make decisions, and the importance of doing research before trading and developing the analysis. These skills are transferable to many other areas of your life. Another benefit of trading is it provides empowerment. When you have the confidence to decide where to place your money and have time to create opportunity for yourself, it makes you feel good to make your own financial decisions and earn an income.
I have learned that being successful in trading takes time. Success does not come from some magic overnight accomplishment, but over time, your small steps will add up to long term success, if you keep learning and develop consistency. I have seen a couple of small accomplishments, and even though I have not meet my ultimate goals, the accomplishments I have made has changed my life in real and noticeable ways, ultimately for the better. If more people were willing to learn and continue practicing their skills in this area of trading or crypto, the future could be a completely different life for many young Africans.
They would be less dependent on the unreliable job market, and instead be able to create a pathway towards opportunities to change their lives. So while we always discuss and learn about financial independence, crypto and trading are opportunities for education and empowerment of young people. They are skills worth learning for every (any) person willing to develop. There are, of course, challenges, but the benefits far exceeds to challenges. The earlier we begin the process of learning to trade, the closer step we are towards building an opportunity for ourselves to earn money during which we can have long-term income generation; and, worthy of developing for any young person. I hope that we will one day see more young persons take advantage of this opportunity to trade to change their lives.
