Been a bit busy as of late, shooting more than I ever have, but it's not left much time for editing, much less posting to the Hive. Grumble grumble. Got some photos I need to edit for someone, so I'm procrastinating by editing all the recent stuff but those. It makes sense in my head, dammit.
Being busy is kind of the idea, if I ever get the hang of balancing shooting with all the other work that comes after the button mashing I'll have it made. Probably will happen about the same time they make me king of England. Speaking of busy, went to Louisville's annual Worldfest last weekend and it was going full tilt.
Crowd was packed in so much you had to barge your way through in places. They were even barging up the Ohio River while I was there. First time getting a shot that gives you a good sense of their scale, they're so big it's hard to get the whole thing in the frame.
May not have had much time for editing, but you've always got to make time for hiking. We've had some unseasonably cool weather recently, which means it is actually comfortable outside. I don't trust it but I'll take it. Usually we've got about a month of summer left but it is already starting to act like fall, had to get in the woods before it changed its mind.
Dogs and cameras are fun, been finding all the camera shy puppers recently. Don't know if shy is quite the right word, more of a 'does not like!' Don't worry dawg, cameras don't bite. Not often at least.
