Hello to you! My name is Jean Ross, born and raised in Sogod, Cebu but residing in Carcar City. I'm a proud gemini and turning 32 younger this year 😅. I'm a newbie here and was introduced to this community by @janwrites, thank you. Thank you for always nudging and encouraging me to write again and to always be myself. I felt really excited knowing this community existed and can't even wait to let you all in on who I am, what I like and what I treasure the most in this life.
Most of my time is spent in front of my computer because work is demanding. As you can see, most of the pictures I got, beside me, is my laptop 😂. I thank my partner for being so understanding. In fact, she even endured the days we spent our anniversary in a secluded and romantic place with a third wheel (my work).
Yes, I'm hardworking, sometimes a workaholic. Workaholic in a sense where I don't want to end my shift unless I actually finish what I am currently working on even after 5. Workaholic in a way where even when in bed, before I fall asleep, I think about what went wrong, what's pending and what I should be doing the next working day 🥴. Crazy right? But I know I'm not alone in this kind of crazy. I believe some of you guys here are also in a "work from home" set up. I know you know that feeling that even in your dreams, your tapping that keyboard 🤣.
My family is not rich, so of course we have to hustle hard. In addition to that, I'm the oldest (automatically the breadwinner) and the only girl in the family (used to be) 🥴. As you can see, I don't look so girly anymore, do I? Hahaha. This was me in the left (that's my aunt beside me), when I was in the closet.
Anyways, I don't just work people. I also get some free time and on normal days (when not doing OT's) I make time to watch a movie, usually just before bed. It takes my mind off thinking about work when it keeps working even if I don't want to 😂. I'm not sure why, but I'm into movies about humble people who gets bullied then bullies getting back exactly the same thing. If you're into that same stuff, I bet you would love watching Ma Dong Seok's (Don Lee) movies.
Besides watching some punching packed movies, I also enjoy playing mobile legends. Even with games, I set goals for each season. Heck, I only use three heroes since I started playing it but my goals is as high as reaching immortal 😆. I know, I have a long way to go, so far I have only been able to achieve honor. We can play sometime if you play this game too (but be reminded I'm no Inuyasha 😅).
Saturdays and Sundays are usually my off days from work and those days are what I enjoy the most. I play with Lucky (our fur baby), I clean the whole house then when I really feel very inspired, write songs or poems. If I'm not writing, you will find me singing my lungs out with our little karaoke set up.
Yes, I very much love singing. I sing when I'm bored. I sing when I'm happy, sad, angry or broken hearted. It's like an outlet for my emotions. You might wonder, what does she sound like when singing? Well, you can tell me what you think after you listen.

Sometimes, I go out with friends. It can be a quick beach getaway, a visit to a nighclub (this rarely happens now 🤣), or simply just chill inside the house. Sometimes an unplanned one where I have to carry my backpack with my laptop in it (there's your work-life balance 😅). Yes, I'm quite flexible.
So that's how I usually spend a normal week. On some occasions (special ones) I prefer to get on a bus, feel some sand in my feet, smell the ocean and just sit there staring at the never ending ocean stretch. See you guys in the next post 😉.
