Chira and Perseverance

My favorite two new cards from Band of the Wolf are Chira and Perseverance. These cards enable the zombie / Corpse Explosion archetype like never before. I love a good combo deck, and this one is pretty nuts. It's almost impossible to not have a full board of zombies with this deck, and that means good time for 18 damage Corpse Explosions!

What more can you ask for in a card?!
Chira can completely flip a full board in a single turn. You'll see in the video above that I at one point played Chira into a Wicked Fae and that ate my opponent's entire board, and I still could've played a Netherborne Binder to kill off yet another creature if I had needed to!
The Arch was always one of my favorite cards that I never ever played. It just always felt too slow and zombies weren't quite strong enough to make it viable. I believe that has completely changed now, and Arch is super strong and sticky. The only major downside to Arch is if your opponent has Blade of Whiteplain in hand, however, that is a semi-rare card to face off against outside of Mythic AND oftentimes they'll find targets on turn 5 and 6 to Blade (like the Cursed Obelisk) before you ever drop your Arch and finish the game off.
Once you have your board stuffed up to the brim with zombies, you can unleash this monster of a card: 5 mana, deal 18 damage to your opponents face! There's no cheaper card in Gods Unchained to deal 18 damage to face naturally (without Spellboost).
You could even mess with combo cards like Necronomics to try and refill your board and do a second Corpse Explosion in the same turn, as was moderately meme-popular back in the day.
Final Thoughts
This deck is cheap. It's only $150 and some of the more expensive tickets can actually be replaced here. The ones you'd think are expensive, like a Divine Order legendary Arch of Amenmose is only $1.61, and Corpse Explosion is $0.17.
You can do some nasty things with zombies now, and they have leech so trading doesn't help as you constantly heal and more always appear!
