it's summer it's summer and the trees are full of leaves for the wind to rush through it's summer and the mountains are calling if I'm not careful the credit card companies will start calling, too asking if I'm interested in actually paying for all that ultralight backpacking equipment they fronted me if I'm not careful but I am I'm always careful haven't failed yet I'm still alive so very very much alive

it's summer and the words are hidden away in caves shaded from the heat of my wild outdoor experiences lest they melt in the sun and run off the pages with the sweat that pours from my face as I pore over all the plans I have for them
so many plans so many places to go so much life to live I could never write it all down
come live it with me
