I'd been hearing about the Korean Community for several weeks but hadn't found a way to participate. By chance, while browsing the deep seas of Hive, I came across a post about Durpy and Sussie (K-pop demon hunters). It was the first time I'd heard of them, so I started investigating and came across wonderful stories about Durpy the tiger and Sussie the magpie, which are related to the Hojakdo folk painting. I wanted to investigate what Hojakdo folk painting was, and I learned that it has to do with the traditional Korean folk painting that depicts a tiger and a magpie together.

I was truly fascinated by the reading and especially by what I learned about Korean culture in just a glance at the post. My exposure to Korean culture has been through cinema. They have an excellent number of extraordinary films, and I'd especially like to take this opportunity to tell you about one I saw a few years ago. In fact, I've seen it about three times. It's a wonderful film for those who enjoy science fiction movies related to time.

I loved this experience with the Korean language because it's the first time I've written it, and let me tell you that every time we learn something new, our brain forms and strengthens connections between its cells. Desde hace varias semanas había escuchado sobre la Comunidad coreana y no había encontrado la manera de participar y por casualidad navegando por los mares profundos de Hive me encontré con un post que hablaba sobre Durpy y Sussie (Cazadores de demonios del K-pop) era la primera vez que oia hablar de ellos así que me puse a investigar y me encontré con historias maravillosas sobre Durpy el tigre y Sussie la urraca que están relacionados con la pintura popular Hojakdo. Quise investigar que era eso de la pintura popular Hojakdo y me enteré que tiene que ver con la pintura folclórica tradicional coreana que representa a un tigre y una urraca juntos.

En verdad me fascinó la lectura y sobre todo lo que aprendí de la cultura coreana en tan solo una ojeada del post. Mi contacto con la cultura coreana ha sido a través de cine, tienen un excelente cantidad de películas extraordinarias y especialmente quisiera aprovechar la oportunidad y hablarles de una que vi hace algunos años, de hecho la he visto como tres veces, es una película maravillosa para aquellos que les gusta ver películas de ciencia ficción relacionadas con el tiempo.

Una película coreana que es de ciencia ficción pero toca un tema tan humano, como el amor, la toma de decisiones y las repercusiones que tienen en la vida. Es un tema profundo sobre las consecuencias que tienen nuestros actos y el poder afrontarlos, además no das un verdadero valor sobre la vida y la necesidad de estar con las personas que más amamos y sobre todo demostrar ese amor siempre.

Una película que sin duda alguna maneja una temática universal y que sea coreana me encantó, así puedo compartirlas con ustedes más libremente.

En mi país Venezuela hubo un momento en que el cine tuvo un gran auge, pero eso cambió con el tiempo, también fuimos un país con un gran desarrollo novelístico a nivel internacional, cuestión que también fue mermando.
