One of the matches that was delayed during the Uefa Playoff Qualifiers period will be played tonight between Genk and Charleroi which should be an interesting matchup.

KRC Genk vs Charleroi

Genk, so far this season has been in a situation where in many matches they were better without fully dominating and they failed to capitilize on it. Especially against extremely defensive teams they only really succeed in playing the ball around without creating enough. They surely have the potential to be a team who dominates and score freely but it hasn't come out yet. This puts them in 10th place with just 6 points and a difficult upcoming match against Union who impressed in the Champions League. I still see them as a top 3 side along with Brugge and Union who should be able to compete for the title. Charleroi lost a couple key players and were eliminated in Euroepe. They are now 7th in the stainging after a good 7 on 9 against Dender, Antwerp, and Cercle Brugge. I still see them as a team to potentually oppose though especially away against strong opponents. My lean for sure today is on Genk but at the same time I kind of want to see it confirmed that they are the dominant side before I really pull the trigger. I did take just 0.2 units on Genk 1st Half -0.25 @ 1.839 which I feel is worth the risk and want to take Genk on a -1.5 handicap at 3.0+ odds along with Genk on the 1st half corners. My main fear is that Charleroi keeps things tight in defense and strike on the counters while Genk similar to the match against La Louviere way too much keeps the ball in the team without creating enough. So everything pretty much depends on in-game betting action.
