Not that much action in the mid-week European matches but I did manage to make 0.1 units. I'm a bit behind on the stats keeping in my personal Excel file, but I plan to get all of that done today. I still have plenty of notes to go on from the past weeks, and there is one match tonight to have a look at.
Sint-Truiden vs Dender

Stvv so far managed to get a 3-1 win at home over Gent in what was a boring 1st half without chances but a deserved win with multiple goals right at the end. The away match against Charleroi ended in a 1-1 draw where goals came early from a deflected ball and a penalty. They did lose Bertaccini as their best scoring striker but overall I don't see them as a defensive team. They haven't missed their start either and should start this one with some confidence and an eye to take the 3 points even though it has shown that they have a hard time to create chances. FC Dender so far took 2 draws witha 0-0 at home against Cercle Brugge in a match where the Cercle Goalkeeper was the best player on the pitch. They followed that up with a 1-1 draw away against Standard. In that match, they were actually willing to go forward from the start but both teams played with limited risk. The 1st half was in balance and Standard was better in the 2nd half while the 1-1 from Dender came from a defelcted ball. The thing with Dender last season is that they were an under team at home but an over team away and the question remains how much this again will be the case this season. I took 0.21 units on 1st Half under 1 @ 2.280 which just feels like a bit too much and more based on last season. I'm also leaning toward the home team at a -0.25 handicap as I see Stvv having a bette season compared to Dender who have to confirm which is always more difficult.I don't have enough confidence though and avoid going against big strong movies so I skip for now.
