Saturday was really solid with limited volume but pretty much all bets ending up as winners good for around 1 Full unit of profit. I wasn't able to watch the last match and I'm catching up on that one right now in the background while I make my previews for Sunday.
La Louviere vs Charleroi

La Louviere is a promoted team that in theory should not be ready for 1st division. In the 1st week they took a 0-2 loss against Standard. They quickly fell behind but had a good reaction in the 2nd half showing drive at home but a lack in actual scoring power. In the away match, they tried to build a wall against AA Gent which backfired as they lost 1-0 in the last minutes. So I potentially see them as a team who plays with a drive forward at home but with all focus on defense away while overall not being good enough to avoid the bottom regions of the standings. Charleroi lost a couple key players and were eliminated in the Conference League. In the league, they started with a 2-2 draw against OHL which was not an unfair draw even though they fell 2-0 behind and their 2 goals came late. In the 2nd week at home, they played a 1-1 draw against Stvv showing that they had a hard time to create something. On top today, they striker Stulic who got red is suspended. I expect for this match that Charleroi has it marked as a must win and I do think that they will take the initiative. Standard started strong in La Louviere and I would not be surprised if Charleroi did the same. I only took 0.2 units on Charleroi 1st Half +0 @ 1.709 which feels just about worth the risk and I might add some on the -0.25 line in case the match picture looks favorable. The over line is also tempting purely on the match picture that I expect which shouldn't be mainly defense. However, both teams have shown not to be most capable to score so I'm skipping that for now. If La Louviere scores first, I likely will take a bet on Charleroi counters handicap.
Anderlecht vs Zulte-Waregem

Anderlecht right now feels like a team who has the best and the worst in them. If they play good it is really good, but it rarely to never last 90 minutes and they also have total off days. In the first match they focused on work ethic and punished Westerlo on the balls they lost which made it a 5-2 match on an overall great performance. In the Europa League they were absolutely nowhere in Hacken to get eliminated. They however followed that up as a bounce back spot against Cercle away which they won with 0-2 in what was a good 1st half but a bad 2nd half. Against Tiraspol this was the same, great 1st half was followed by a weaker 2nd half despite the fact that they scored 2 goals in the 2nd half already sealing the deal. They now don't have to think about the Conference league match and can field their best 11. Zulte-Waregem showed good resilliance at home against Mechelen coming back from a 0-1 behind after Mechelen crawled back too much. They tried to go forward after falling behind but didn't really create much aside from corners and a penalty in minute 95 to give them the deserved win. Away against Westerlo they lost 3-1 and looked rather shaky in the defense early on. Their coach stated before the start of the season that they would put more importance on defense so I would not be surprised if they tried to build a wall today while trying to get a goal in on the counter. The main question today is the form of Anderlecht and how long they will be able to keep it up. I'm really liking the odds on a big Anderlecht win as I just don't see it at something that would be that much of a surprise. 0.25 units on Anderlecht -2 @ 4.432 and also a 0.27 LTC Crypto bet on it at 4.20 odds over at Sportbet.one. I also expect Anderlecht to be the team with all the initiative and took 0.16 units on Anderlecht 1H -1.25 Corners @ 1.790
Standard vs Genk

Standard unlike last season isn't the team anymore who just builds a wall and they also have a little more quality. They started with a 0-2 win away in La Louviere, starting great in the first 15 minutes but unable to keep it up. In the match at home against Dender there was low risk taking from both sides which eded in a 1-1 draw due to an unlucky deflected ball. The main note that I made was to bet Team Total over on the team playing against Standard. Genk started off with a great match against Club Brugge away which only really lasted 60 minutes and where they were unlucky to lose in the end deserving more. At home against Antwerp they faced a team who parked the bus and were way too cautious most of the time just playing the ball around in the midfield while Antwerp was very efficient on the counters. I'm expecting Genk to be the team with most initiative but similar to last week they might keep the ball in the team again a bit too much looking for that 1 played out chance to score the goal. I took an early bet of 0.095 units on Genk 1st Half -0.25 @ 2.140, 0.12 units on Genk Team Total Over 1.5 @ 2.036, and 0.08 units on Over 2.5 @ 2.075 all with an eye to possibly increase in-game.
Antwerp vs OH Leuven

Antwerp last week build a wall away against Genk which got them a point and they got a lot of criticsm on the way they played. They kind of played similar against Union at home also taking a point. However, these are 2 of the better teams in the league and I totally expect today for them to change their approach to something way more offensive in a match that is marked a must-win as a draw will not cut it today. So the question is how good they are actually capable of this. They main weakness I would say is their bench and the inability to bring on players without a massive quality loss at the end. OHL is a team with potential who are still building. They took a 2-2 against Charleroi which was fair but they were 2-0 up in minute 78'. Last week however against Union, they got totally trashed with 5-0 and they were nowhere. Often times, team who have an off day start better the week after so I don't expect OHL to be a walkover team. My main lean is on the over as I do expect a way more forward Antwerp who could be vulnerable on the counter. The only 2 bets I took are 0.1 units on Over 2.5 @ 1.960 & 0.1 units on Both To Score @ 1.816 with also a lean on Antwerp on the 1st half corners and over on the corners. I will however wait for the in-game match picture to possibly get in more.
