No me canso de repetirlo. Perdón si es molesto, pero la ciudad de Buenos Aires está plagada de museos y sitios históricos de un valor incalculable. Sólo tengo que aprovechar mis eventuales viajes a la capital. Ya sea por razones laborales o sociales estoy yendo a la ciudad al menos una vez a la semana. Tengo más de una hora de viaje de ida. Entonces hago que el viaje rinda haciendo siempre alguna escapada a algún lugar interesante. Es mucho más simple de lo que parece, esté donde esté simplemente tengo que abrir el mapa y teclear la palabra “museo”

I never tire of repeating it. Sorry if it's annoying, but the city of Buenos Aires is full of museums and historical sites of incalculable value. I just have to take advantage of my occasional trips to the capital. Whether for work or social reasons, I'm going to the city at least once a week. I have more than an hour's trip each way. So I make the trip count by always making a getaway to some interesting place. It's much simpler than it seems, wherever I am I just have to open the map and type in the word "museum"
Al hacer esto comienzan a florecer sitios en la cercanía. Museos de pintura o arte plástico. A veces historia o edificios antiguos en excelente estado de conservación. Fui a hacer un servicio técnico al barrio de Palermo cerca del microcentro. Al salir hice la búsqueda usual y encontré “Museo Casa de Ricardo Rojas” a tan sólo dos cuadras. Estaba en frente de la comisaría. El frente era imponente, con un estilo muy parecido a la Casa de Tucuman donde se declaró la independencia en 1816. El parecido era intencional homenajeando a éste icónico edificio argentino. Ya que fue construido en 1927, más de 100 años después de la independencia Argentina.
When I do this, places begin to flourish nearby. Museums of painting or plastic art. Sometimes history or old buildings in excellent condition of conservation. I went to do a technical service in the Palermo neighborhood near downtown. When I left I did the usual search and found "Museo Casa de Ricardo Rojas" just two blocks away. It was in front of the police station. The front was imposing, with a style very similar to the Casa de Tucuman where independence was declared in 1816. The resemblance was intentional, paying homage to this iconic Argentine building. It was built in 1927, more than 100 years after Argentina's independence.

El interior era aún más sorprendente. Fué como entrar a un jardín élfico del señor de los anillos. Columnas talladas con un jardín floreado y una fuente en el centro. Los patrones de las columnas eran bellísimos, de un estilo precolombino pero mezclado con el aspecto tradicional de las colonias españolas. Su dueño Ricardo Rojas era un escritor y periodista de Santiago del Estero. Pertenecía a una acaudalada familia. Escribió mucho sobre la cultura criolla como la evolución de dos corrientes, la europea y la autóctona de las Américas.
The interior was even more surprising. It was like entering an elven garden from the Lord of the Rings. Carved columns with a flower garden and a fountain in the center. The patterns of the columns were beautiful, in a pre-Columbian style but mixed with the traditional look of the Spanish colonies. Its owner Ricardo Rojas was a writer and journalist from Santiago del Estero. He belonged to a wealthy family. He wrote a lot about Creole culture as the evolution of two currents, the European and the native of the Americas.

Dentro hay dos hermosos y muy grandes hogares de leña, todo de piedra trabajada. Tanto techo y piso de madera lustrada y brillante con arañas metálicas iluminando junto a los grandes ventanales. Las formas de las molduras en los muebles y esculturas eran de un estilo precolombino, así como las pinturas en las paredes. Además del jardín central hay otro detrás, menos opulenta su decoración, con una estatua del dueño original de la casa. Es un lugar realmente increíble y lleno de detalles de construcción y estilo únicos. Es de entrada libre y gratuita hasta las 19Hs
Inside there are two beautiful and very large wood-burning fireplaces, all made of worked stone. Both ceilings and floors of polished and shiny wood with metal chandeliers illuminating next to the large windows. The shapes of the moldings on the furniture and sculptures were in a pre-Columbian style, as well as the paintings on the walls. In addition to the central garden, there is another one behind it, less opulently decorated, with a statue of the original owner of the house. It is a truly incredible place, full of unique construction and style details. It is free to enter until 7pm

La última cultura, mezcla de Europa y población originaria de las américas.
