Hola queridos amigos de la comunidad más linda de #hive. La verdad es que extraño muchísimo el tiempo que le dedicaba a pasar por la comunidad, apreciar sus contenidos y valorarlos. Mi prioridad hoy es atender a mi hijo, sin embargo él siempre me deja un tiempo ⏱️ para ocuparme de tejer algún proyecto. No he podido tejer 🧶 como quisiera, diariamente, pero me siento feliz porque al menos algunos días he tejido una o dos moñeras, aquí en Argentina les llaman Colines.
Hello dear friends of the most beautiful community on #hive. The truth is that I really miss the time I used to spend in the community, enjoying its content and appreciating it. My priority today is to take care of my son, but he always leaves me some time ⏱️ to work on a knitting project. I haven't been able to knit 🧶 as much as I would like every day, but I feel happy because at least some days I have knitted one or two bow ties, which are called Colines here in Argentina.
He estado tejiendo proyectos pequeños con la finalidad de promocionarlos para la venta. Definitivamente yo no sé vender ya que me dicen que aquí el crochet se vende bien, pero yo no he vendido nada 😪. La amiga de mi hijo y su papá me agregaron a grupos de ventas. Todos los días hago la promoción y nada. Quizá mis creaciones no son tan bonitas como para que las personas deseen tenerlas, es mi conclusión. De todos modos, a mí me encanta tejer porque me relaja mucho y porque es una razón para venir a hive y compartirles, sé que por aquí hay muchos creadores y curadores que valoran mucho mi trabajo. I have been knitting small projects with the aim of promoting them for sale. I definitely don't know how to sell, because people tell me that crochet sells well here, but I haven't sold anything 😪. My son's friend and her dad added me to some sales groups. Every day I promote my work, and nothing. Maybe my creations aren't pretty enough for people to want them, that's my conclusion. Anyway, I love knitting because it relaxes me a lot and because it's a reason to come to hive and share with you all. I know that there are many creators and curators here who really value my work. El diseño de colin que estoy tejiendo es sencillo, se cubre toda la liga con puntos bajos. Sobre esos puntos bajos tejí una vuelta de aumentos de puntos altos. Y la última vuelta es de aumentos triples por cada punto de la vuelta anterior. Decidí tejer colines porque es una creación que se teje rápido y deseo terminarme los hilos de algodón que traje. No me alcanzaba para un proyecto complejo así que los aproveché para hacer las colitas. Las ligas las mandé a comprar en el centro de Mendoza. Fueron 50 ligas negras y 50 ligas blancas. Me parece que salieron costosas porque en las 100 ligas y 100 aros para llaveros gasté 13000 pesos argentinos.
The design of the colin I am knitting is simple, covering the entire garter stitch with single crochet stitches. On top of those single crochet stitches, I knitted a row of double crochet increases. And the last row is triple increases for each stitch of the previous row. I decided to knit colins because they are quick to make and I want to use up the cotton yarn I brought with me. I didn't have enough for a complex project, so I used them to make the bows. I had the garters bought in downtown Mendoza. There were 50 black garters and 50 white garters. I think they were expensive because I spent 13,000 Argentine pesos on the 100 garters and 100 key rings.
Tenía muy poquito hilo 😃 por lo que alcanzó para tejer varios colores grandes y algunos otros pequeños. Los pequeños simplemente los cubri con puntos bajos y sobre esa vuelta tejí arcos de cinco o de seis cadenas. También combiné colores para aprovechar cada retazo de hilo que quedaba. Me gustaría tener mucho material para dedicarme un mes entero a tejer colines y tener un stock variado.
Por otro lado les comento que a mi hijo le colocarán su próxima dosis del tratamiento el 22 de octubre, tengo mucha fé en que su mejoría será más pronta. Agradezco mucho por sus oraciones 🙏🏽 y por colaborar de alguna forma con mi causa. Necesito reunir el dinero 🤑 para comprar los pasajes para nuestro regreso a Venezuela lo más pronto posible. Aquí le colocan el tratamiento gratis a mi hijo, es cada seis meses, pero no tenemos los recursos para quedarnos a vivir aquí todo un año.
I had very little yarn, so it was enough to knit several large colors and some smaller ones. I simply covered the small ones with single crochet stitches and knitted arches of five or six chains on that row. I also combined colors to make use of every scrap of yarn I had left. I would like to have enough material to spend a whole month knitting collars and have a varied stock.
On another note, my son will receive his next dose of treatment on October 22, and I have great faith that he will improve soon. I am very grateful for your prayers and for helping my cause in any way. I need to raise money to buy tickets for our return to Venezuela as soon as possible. My son receives free treatment here every six months, but we do not have the resources to stay here for a whole year.
