Estos días he estado bastante ocupada ya que mi hijo pasa menos tiempo durmiendo, lo cual me hace muy feliz porque me indica que su ánimo se está levantando. Hoy a pesar de que ha estado más tiempo despierto él quiso dormir una siesta más o menos larga, me dió tiempo empezar y terminar el siguiente proyecto que voy a presentarles. Mientras estaba tejiendo la amiga de mi hijo se acercó y fue ella quien me dijo el nombre del personaje. Yo me animé a tejerlo porque lo ví bien bonito e ideal para usarlo como colgante o llavero. Estoy usando los hilos que me traje de Venezuela y todavía tengo disponibilidad ya que no he tejido al ritmo al que estoy acostumbrada. En este proyecto usé hilos pabilos color blanco y color rosado. Tejí con una aguja de crochet de 2,25mm. Usé las tijeras de la casa, una aguja lanera, ojos de seguridad y una nariz pequeña también de seguridad. El amigurumi lo rellené con algodón sintético.
While I was knitting my son's friend approached me and it was her who told me the name of the character. I decided to knit it because I saw it very pretty and ideal to use it as a pendant or keychain. I'm using the yarns I brought from Venezuela and I still have availability since I haven't knitted it at the pace I'm used to. In this project I used white and pink wick yarns. I knitted with a 2.25mm crochet needle. I used house scissors, a wool needle, safety eyes and a small safety nose. I stuffed the amigurumi with synthetic cotton.
Empecé tejiendo con el hilo pabilo color blanco, desde un anillo mágico de 6pb hice crecer el cuerpo del amigurumi hasta obtener 42 puntos. Tejí aumentos hasta la vuelta de 5pb-1aum lo que me dió como resultado los 42 pb.
I started knitting with the white wick yarn, from a magic ring of 6bp I made the amigurumi body grow until I got 42 stitches. I knitted increases until the round of 5bp-1aum which gave me as a result the 42 stitches.
Después de esa vuelta de 5pb-1aum empecé a tejer vueltas solo de 42 pb. En total tejí 11 vueltas para formar parte del cuerpo del amigurumi MOLANG. A partir de aquí fui colocando el relleno dentro del tejido. Después de la vuelta 18 empecé a realizar las reducciones desde 5pb-1dism hasta llegar a la vuelta de solo disminuciones. A esta altura ya tenía colocado todo el relleno. Tomé la aguja lanera y cerré totalmente el tejido. Corté el hilo y escondí la hebra.
After that round of 5pb-1aum I started knitting single rows of 42 sts. In total I knit 11 rows to form part of the body of the MOLANG amigurumi. From this point on I placed the stuffing inside the fabric. After the 18th row I started to make the decreases from 5pb-1dism until I reached the decrease only row. At this point I had all the stuffing in place. I took the knitting needle and closed the fabric completely. I cut the yarn and hid the yarn.
Las extremidades y la cola del amigurumi fue sencillo de realizar, para las patas tejí 4pb en un anillo mágico. Y para la cola solo tejí 5pb en un anillo mágico. En todas estas piezas dejé el hilo largo para coser. También tejí las orejas. Desde un anillo mágico de 6pb, tejí un aumento para obtener 8pb. Después tejí dos vueltas sin aumentos. Coloqué un poquito de relleno y dejé la hebra larga para coser.
The amigurumi's limbs and tail were easy to make, for the legs I knitted 4 stitches in a magic ring. And for the tail I only knitted 5pb in a magic ring. In all these pieces I left the long yarn for sewing. I also knitted the ears. From a 6bp magic ring, I knit an increase to get 8bp. Then I knit two rounds without increases. I placed a little bit of stuffing and left the long yarn for sewing.
Una vez tejidas todas las piezas empecé a ensamblar. Pensaba bordarle la nariz, pero tenía una nariz pequeña y preferí colocársela. Me gusta como se ve. Para las mejillas apenas hice un punto con el hilo pabilo color rosado. ¿Qué tal me quedo este personaje?

Once all the pieces were knitted I started to assemble. I was thinking of embroidering the nose, but he had a small nose and I preferred to put it on. I like the way it looks. For the cheeks I just knitted a stitch with the pink thread. How does this character look?
