Hola queridos amigos de #hive, como siempre es un gran placer para mí pasar por la comunidad para compartirles alguna de mis más recientes creaciones. Con motivo de mi llegada a Mendoza-Argentina quise realizar un nuevo cuello tejido a crochet para estrenar los días que haga mucho más frío. Desde que llegué el frío que he sentido es realmente soportable, sin embargo en estos tres últimos días lo he sentido más fuerte dentro y fuera de la casa. Entonces como ya traía de Venezuela un proyecto empezado lo que hice fue cambiar el plan y convertirlo en un lindo y muy cálido cuello.
Hello dear friends of #hive, as always it is a great pleasure for me to stop by the community to share with you some of my latest creations. On the occasion of my arrival in Mendoza-Argentina I wanted to make a new crochet knitted collar to wear on the days when it is much colder. Since I arrived the cold I have felt is really bearable, however in the last three days I have felt it stronger inside and outside the house. So, since I had already started a project from Venezuela, I changed the plan and turned it into a nice and very warm collar.
Materiales/Materials.
- Hilo de algodón de 3mm.
- Aguja de crochet de 5mm.
- Tijeras.
- 3mm cotton thread.
- 5mm crochet hook.
- Scissors.
Tomé la fotografía ya cuando terminé el proyecto. Me entretuve tejiendo y dejé de tomar las fotos durante el proceso. Realmente ando siempre con la mitad de la atención en lo que hago y la otra mitad atendiendo a mi hijo. Estoy súper contenta porque Ale ha demostrado avances significativos, ocasionalmente se levanta solo de la cama y de la silla. También ha deseado levantarse solo de la poceta, pero se le hace incómodo por lo pequeño del baño. Así que ahí vamos paso a paso. Mientras él descansa yo aprovecho de tejer un rato, reflexionar, pensar en el futuro y descansar un poco.
I took the picture already when I finished the project. I got busy knitting and stopped taking the pictures during the process. I'm really always half focused on what I'm doing and the other half on my son. I am super happy because Ale has shown significant progress, occasionally getting out of bed and out of his chair on his own. He has also wanted to get up on his own from the potty, but it is uncomfortable because of the small size of the bathroom. So there we go step by step. While he rests I take the opportunity to knit for a while, reflect, think about the future and rest a little.
Para que tengan una idea este cuello lo comencé tejiendo una cadena del largo deseado para lograr el ancho del cuello, usé el hilo color crema primero porque tenía un poco más de ese. Él punto que usé en todo el tejido fue el punto alto tomando solo la hebra de atrás del punto. La verdad es que ando súper inspirada con los trabajos de una chica de Buenos Aires, ella casi todo lo teje con puntos medios altos tomando solo la hebra de atrás. Quedé realmente sorprendida al ver un pequeño chupetero que tejió con puntos medios altos, imagínense la cabecita de un conejo 🐇 tejido con medios puntos altos. Ella es muy práctica, teje de ese modo y lo que teje lo vende, dice que no se complica mucho.
To give you an idea, I started this collar by knitting a chain of the desired length to achieve the width of the collar, I used the cream yarn first because I had a little more of it. The stitch that I used throughout the knitting was the high stitch taking only the back strand of the stitch. The truth is that I am super inspired by the work of a girl from Buenos Aires, she knits almost everything with medium high stitches taking only the back strand. I was really surprised to see a little pacifier that she knitted with medium high stitches, imagine the head of a rabbit 🐇 knitted with medium high stitches. She is very practical, she knits that way and what she knits she sells, she says she doesn't get too complicated.
Se me terminó el hilo color crema y enseguida continué con el hilo color marrón, ya el tejido me estaba dando calorcito en las manos y pensé que definitivamente el cuello me iba a ser muy útil. Es un hilo muy suave, grueso y cálido. Si se dan cuenta, sin querer queriendo me salió un diseño bonito en cuanto la ubicación de los colores. Al menos ya me enamoré del cuello 🧣. Me encanta.
I ran out of the cream yarn and immediately continued with the brown yarn, the fabric was already giving me warmth in my hands and I thought that the collar was definitely going to be very useful. It is a very soft, thick and warm yarn. If you notice, I accidentally came up with a beautiful design in terms of color placement. At least I already fell in love with the collar 🧣. I love it.
Después que hice la unión no dudé en medirmelo. Me lo sentí a la medida. Lo bueno es que cuando tejo con puntos medios altos el tejido suele estirar un poco, sin embargo el cuello me quedó perfecto. Lo último que hice fue cortar las hebras sobrantes y esconder los hilos.
After I made the union I did not hesitate to measure it. I felt it to fit. The good thing is that when I knit with medium high stitches the fabric tends to stretch a little, however the neck was perfect. The last thing I did was to cut the excess yarn and hide the threads.
Espero pronto encontrar por aquí por el sector una tienda de venta de hilos como estos, ambos, el color crema y el marrón me los compró mi hijo en Mendoza, pero por el sector donde él residía antes de enfermarse. He tenido la oportunidad de caminar dos veces y logré llegar hasta la avenida San Martin, vi muchos comercios por allí, pero no me dió tiempo recorrer toda la avenida. Luego que Ale esté mejor usaré unas horas para irme a caminar con la tranquilidad de que él aquí en casa no vaya a caerse o se le olvide que está solo y haga algo peligroso. Él todavía tiene mucha deficiencia en su memoria a corto plazo.
