Hola queridos amigos de esta linda y dinámica comunidad. Espero que estén bien. El día de hoy quiero compartirles una de mis creaciones más recientes, he estado tejiendo, sin embargo no me ha quedado tiempo para la edición y redacción de los post. A Dios gracias aquí donde estamos el sistema de salud funciona muchísimo mejor que en mi país. La consultas son exactamente a la hora, los médicos siempre están puntuales y además si te recetan algún medicamento en el mismo hospital te lo dan gratis. Fui con mi hijo a una consulta y el doctor amablemente me dió un recipe a nombre de mi hijo para yo también poder tener mis pastillas. Estoy muy agradecida con todos ellos. Esta semana tuve un tiempo libre y me dediqué a recrear un diseño que me envió una amiga desde Venezuela. A ella le gustó mucho y yo aproveché de sacar un modelo propio, saben que yo trabajo con los hilos que tengo disponible y eso le resta calidad al tejido. Algún día podré tener variedad de hilos de diferentes calidades y marcas.
Hello dear friends of this beautiful and dynamic community. I hope you are all well. Today I want to share one of my most recent creations with you. I have been knitting, but I haven't had time to edit and write the posts. Thank God the healthcare system here works much better than in my country. Appointments are exactly on time, doctors are always punctual, and if they prescribe medication at the hospital, you get it for free. I went with my son to an appointment, and the doctor kindly gave me a prescription in my son's name so that I could also get my pills. I am very grateful to all of them. This week I had some free time and I dedicated myself to recreating a design that a friend from Venezuela sent me. She liked it a lot and I took the opportunity to make my own model. You know that I work with the yarn I have available, and that reduces the quality of the fabric. Someday I will be able to have a variety of yarns of different qualities and brands.
Materiales/Materials.
Para realizar este bello proyecto necesité de los siguientes materiales:
- Hilo estambre colores rosa claro y rosado.
- Aguja de crochet de 3,25mm.
- Argolla de aluminio.
- Aplique decorativo con elástico (tipo colita para el cabello de niñas)
- Tijeras.
To make this beautiful project, I needed the following materials:
- Light pink and pink yarn.
- 3.25 mm crochet hook.
- Aluminum ring.
- Decorative appliqué with elastic (like a hair tie for girls).
- Scissors.
Procedimiento/Procedure.
- Empecé tejiendo con el hilo rosa claro. Inicié desde un anillo mágico de 12 puntos altos. Enseguida empecé a tejer vueltas de aumentos hasta llegar a la vuelta de 4puntos altos y 1 aumento. Hasta allí tejí todo el círculo. Fui midiendo con mis lentes para lograr este tamaño.
- I started knitting with the light pink yarn. I began with a magic ring of 12 double crochets. I immediately started knitting increase rows until I reached the row with 4 double crochets and 1 increase. I knitted the entire circle up to that point. I measured with my glasses to achieve this size.
- Acomodé el tejido de manera tal que el último punto quedara encima del doblés que le hice al círculo. Desde allí tejí dos puntos bajos sosteniendo con el hilo y los puntos la argolla. Luego cerré con punto deslizado y corté el hilo. Escondí la hebra sobrante por el tejido.
- I arranged the fabric so that the last stitch was on top of the fold I had made in the circle. From there, I knitted two single crochet stitches, holding the ring with the yarn and the stitches. Then I closed with a slip stitch and cut the yarn. I hid the excess thread in the fabric.
- Usando los apliques fui midiendo la distancia entre las orillas del circulo y el elástico del aplique. Aquí no tengo agujas de coser ni hilos y mucho menos botones ni broches. Por eso decidí colocarle un aplique con elástico de los que me traje de Venezuela y me resultó bastante bien. Lo que hice fue pasar el elástico por en medio de dos puntos altos de ambos lados del círculo doblado. Siempre tomando la medida de mis lentes para asegurarme de hacerlo bien.
- Using the appliqués, I measured the distance between the edges of the circle and the elastic on the appliqué. I don't have any sewing needles or thread here, let alone buttons or clasps. So I decided to attach an appliqué with elastic that I brought with me from Venezuela, and it worked out quite well. What I did was pass the elastic through two double crochet stitches on both sides of the folded circle. I kept checking the measurements of my glasses to make sure I was doing it right.
- Probé poniendo varios apliques, todos se ven súper lindos, pero elegí el lazo. Es de color verde agua muy bonito y del tamaño justo para no restarle belleza al diseño. Es un porta lentes muy moderno y lo mejor es que se teje súper rápido. Anímate y haz unos para ti.
- I tried out several different embellishments, and they all look super cute, but I chose the bow. It's a very pretty sea green color and just the right size so as not to detract from the design. It's a very modern glasses case, and the best part is that it knits up super fast. Go ahead and make some for yourself.

Para completarlo tejí una cadeneta más o menos larga con el estambre color rosado, la fijé con un nudo alondra en la argolla y así quedó finalizado este proyecto. Espero que sea de su total agrado.
