If you're anything like me, you've had more than your share of struggles; enough to, at times, be wondering if there mightn't be a better way of life?

I have some really good news for you:

I've found that way,

and I want to share it with you.

Could there be a better way?

If you've ever felt that life is the pits; if you're tired of working hard but getting further behind; if you're carrying a load you can't handle any more...

Here's some incredibly good news:

I've found someone to follow instead of the usual suspects. He's rescued me from the tyrants we've had to deal with all our lives; the presidents, prime ministers, kings and other politicians that claim they have the right to take our money and tell us what to do.

If you understand and heed this good news, you needn't bow to the old tyrants any longer either!

Is any king worth following?

I want you to meet and get to know the One, True King.

You've almost certainly heard of Jesus before, but if you aren't already following him, odds are you haven't yet realized who he truly is. More than likely, you've been lied to about him, and as a result, you probably believe things about Jesus that just aren't true...

I'm going to tell you the plain truth about Jesus; I want to bring him into focus so that—maybe for the first time—you'll get a glimpse of how truly Wonderful he is.

You've probably been told that Jesus was a good man, a great teacher, maybe even a prophet. While all these things are absolutely true, if you've been told that's all Jesus is, you've been lied to. Here is the incredible truth:

Jesus is the Creator-God who made us all!

That's who Jesus claims to be. Can you believe it?

If he were either crazy or lying, no one should follow him. But I believe he was telling the truth, and if you look into the matter with an open mind, I think you will too.

Why else would his disciples go around the world saying "Jesus is LORD?" Most of them were executed for saying that, because politicians don't take kindly to competition. Sadly, even most "churches" play down the fact that Jesus is the ONLY legitimate ruler, because they, too, either want you beholden to a government, or want to control you themselves.

For me, following Jesus

has been the best thing ever! He's given me real purpose in life. I follow him gladly; he has my full allegiance, because I know he truly has my best interests at heart. He's promised me a future in a totally renovated New Heavens and New Earth, in a strong, new, youthful body that will never become diseased or damaged again. No one else offers me anything remotely comparable.

You can follow Jesus, too.

Listen to his invitation:

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” - Matthew 11:28-30

Just come to Jesus. You don't have to sign up. You don't have to "join" anything. You don't have to start "going to church." You don't have to memorize a bunch of new rules; Jesus said there are only two you need to act on, and they're easy to remember:

Jesus wants you to thrive,

and following him is not that complicated; just stop following the meaningless, empty things you've been chasing, and start pursuing Jesus' Kingdom.

"How do I do that?"

Good question! I'll leave you (for now) with a couple of simple pointers:

Start by learning about Jesus... One of his closest followers, John, wrote this book ✝️ about Jesus; read it!

Hang out with other Jesus followers, like me. As we live our lives, as we read the bible, as we learn about Jesus, we can help and encourage each other along the way...
