El día empezó con un cielo radiante y con la energía de muchos compañeros listos para afrontar una gran ruta: La Tomatera, en el municipio de Caldas, Antioquia. Desde el inicio se sentía ese ambiente de camaradería, con las bicicletas listas y las ganas de pedalear entre los pinos y las montañas que adornan este bello territorio. La naturaleza parecía acompañar cada pedalazo, regalándonos paisajes únicos y un aire puro que llenaba de fuerza los pulmones.
Uno de los momentos más desafiantes de la jornada fue la bajada por una pendiente bastante larga. Confieso que sentí cierta tensión, pero también emoción al dejarme llevar por la velocidad. Al final, gracias a Dios, logré bajarla sin contratiempos, aunque los frenos me dieron un buen susto al recalentarse. Fue una experiencia que me recordó lo importante que es mantener la calma y la concentración, disfrutando del trayecto pero con respeto por la montaña.
Después de la aventura, la recompensa llegó en el corregimiento de Salinas, donde nos detuvimos a desayunar en un restaurante. La comida fue deliciosa y, como si fuera poco, nos refrescamos con unas cervezas que supieron a gloria después del esfuerzo. Más que un simple descanso, fue un momento de compartir, de reír y de reforzar los lazos de amistad que hacen de estas salidas algo tan especial.
Al final del recorrido, me sentí profundamente agradecido. Fue una ruta que me permitió disfrutar de grandes amigos, conectarme con la naturaleza, respirar aire puro y, por supuesto, poner a latir con más fuerza el corazón. Me quedo con la satisfacción de gozar de buena salud y con la ilusión de muchas más rodadas junto a esta gran manada que hace que cada kilómetro valga la pena.

The day began with clear skies and the energy of many companions ready to tackle a great route: La Tomatera, in the municipality of Caldas, Antioquia. One of the most challenging moments of the day was the descent down a fairly long slope. I confess that I felt some tension, but also excitement as I let myself be carried away by the speed. In the end, thank God, I managed to get down without any mishaps, although the brakes gave me a good scare when they overheated. It was an experience that reminded me how important it is to stay calm and focused, enjoying the ride but with respect for the mountain.
After the adventure, the reward came in the village of Salinas, where we stopped for breakfast at a restaurant. The food was delicious, and to top it off, we refreshed ourselves with a few beers that tasted like heaven after all that effort. More than just a break, it was a moment to share, laugh, and strengthen the bonds of friendship that make these outings so special.
At the end of the ride, I felt deeply grateful. It was a route that allowed me to enjoy great friends, connect with nature, breathe fresh air, and, of course, get my heart pumping. I am left with the satisfaction of enjoying good health and the excitement of many more rides with this great group that makes every kilometer worthwhile.
