Our latest Request for a community Fact Check covers a recent but relatively unpublicized Pandemic Treaty being proposed by The World Health Organization.

The WHO claims that a proposed global pandemic treaty is to protect the global population against any future pandemics and strengthen pandemic prevention preparedness and response.

The treaty will involve 194 member states and if signed would potentially be legally binding. The treaty would also be intended to grant the WHO more funding and power, plus allow it to intervene in any member country's activities in any existing or future pandemic.

So far there has been little to no coverage of this treaty in the mainstream media. Given the nature and reach of the treaty and possible effects on individual freedoms, it is only right that people are made aware of all information relating to the treaty so it can be both analyzed and discussed in public forums.

Currently, no information has been provided by The WHO as to the ramifications of this treaty and how it may affect the people that the WHO has claimed it is designed to protect. Online commentators have highlighted the risk that the treaty is likely to be quietly pushed through internal government channels with very little public scrutiny.
