The sky was a pale purple, with no difference in coloration to mark a horizon. The land pushed and pulled beneath her, as did other great chunks of the land around her, some even disconnecting from the ground and floating off, independent of the apparent gravity that kept her on the moving ground.
As she went further, the cable on her suit still slack, she noticed no buildings, no trees, though far up in the sky she could make out what appeared to be islands jutting out from the clouds, with twisting gnarled roots growing out from beneath.
As she approached a particularly high piece of earth, she began to ascend.
