I live in the Visayas region of the Philippines, near the sea, and as I previously stated in one of my blog posts, Roxas City is the Philippines' seafood capital. So we can probably offer different seas for swimming and eating different seafood. I'm not a wanderer but I've been to a few places here, including Basiao Beach.

Basiao Beach is located in Ivisan, Roxas City, and is a popular beach due to its clean and clear water. Basiao Beach also has some white sand, but the beach we visited was not as white sand as the rest of the sea there.
They occupied a Jeep to get here because we had to pass a steep road and Manang Lyn's Canadian boyfriend wanted to try riding a jeep. Yes! We went with them to this place.
This place is just near the house of Manang Lyn's sister-in-law, so the entrance fee and our cottage here are free. We also bring food and other things for grilling the fish and other seafoods. Well, we always do this when we go to the beach or travel far away to save money, hehe.
We didn't take a bath because the beach was at low tide and it was already hot when we got to the water, but I did snap some selfies with Manang Lyn's daughter.
While we were heading to the other area of water where we could walk to the middle of the sea.
They really enjoyed it here haha. Since the water is low near the shore, only up to our feet, we can walk to the two Islands nearby and visible in the picture, so we can swim and let the water reach our bodies.
We can actually swim in the water, but we really want to go to the sea center haha. We walked a long way but turned back because it was too hot and there was nothing to do there, lol.😆
After we got back because it was hot, we walked along the beach and went to where there were rocks with a unique formation. Too bad I don't have a picture na. And we also saw a dead starfish that I was holding.
At this point, the number of people began to ride as each cottages in the seashore made more noise.
They were drinking after we ate lunch and while we rested. Drinking is a staple for Filipinos, regardless of where they are or what occasion they are celebrating. Hehe.
In the afternoon, the call of the salty, clean, and clear water, and windy breeze. I went into the water even though I don't know how to swim haha. I know how to swim a little in shallow water, but when it comes to deep water I don't know how to na ulit haha because my nervousness is getting ahead of me than to think how to swim. Haha Lols.😆
Even though Mr. Sunshine is hurt a little my skin and my eyes irritate of the salty water , I still enjoy swimming here. I like to swim in the sea in the afternoon or early morning, how about you? What time do you prefer to swim in the sea?
I really miss going to the beach, where you can soak in the water for a few hours and sunbathe, and then you come home feeling like you're going to get a fever because you're already sick. Hahaha.
