No one under his right senses would hate himself or decide to do anything that would hurt himself. If a man cannot willfully harm himself then he should not to it to his wife. Doing so means walking in disobedience. ‎ ‎Violence should not be tolerated in the home. It stands against what we believe as christians. Part of what thrives a home is the ability to result misunderstandings without it having to result violence. A family is meant to live as one and not in disunity. Living like this in a home is risky because it is likely to give the enemy a footstool in the home. ‎ ‎‭James 3:16 - For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. ‎ ‎The existence of violence in the home is points to the fact that is enemy is lurking around because these are part of the works that when we see them occur it is certain that it is the work of the devil.
