For this weeks contest I decided to give the flying squid a go, I had a lot of fun with this one.
I used this image as a reference and as usual I used Poser 13 to create this piece.
I started out with a simple 3D mesh of a toon squid that I created, I tried to model the squid as closely as I could to my reference image.
Next I added a texture to the squid.
I added a big beautiful sky in the background to make it look like the squid was flying.
Finally, I rendered and animated the squid. This was one of those times when my project actually exceeded my expectations, I guess you can say my flying Squid was Ink creditable lol.
