Silver Price Analysis Silver has shown modest gains, rising roughly 2–3% over the past several days. Prices are up from earlier in the week as investors respond to expectations of U.S. Federal Reserve rate cuts and weakening dollar strength. Silver is more volatile because it straddles both industrial demand (for electronics, solar, etc.) and precious-metal safe haven demand. This gives it more upside in good news, but more downside when things look shaky. Right now I think silver will remain to be strong and I'll continue to sell upside calls on my current SLV position with the increased IV bring in higher premiums.
