One of my secret weapons for next cycle is GCOTI and I am to get hold of as many as possible over the coming months in preparation for the next cycle. If I had invested another $1300 into GCOTI I would have been earning an extra 100 COTI daily earning a total of 180 daily. That is worth $324 per month with these low prices and this price is only going to go up from here.
With the current 4 year crypto cycle presumably coming to an end some time before the end of this year I am already considering options for the next cycle. This current 4 year cycle plus the last has all been about growing a foundation that will hopefully one day pay off.
This current cycle the aim was simply to continue growing my HIVE wallet and to grow another crypto bag or a few externally away from HIVE. It turns out growing more than one bag is not that easy and I have only managed one decent bag being COTI.
The COTI bag will be sold when the time is right and then a percentage will be reinvested back into COTI when the price drops. The other part of this investment is the Governance token called GCOTI and this is not going to be sold and will remain in place for the next cycle. This investment is only worth less than $700, but what it offers is a 24.58% APR boost when staked with COTI 1 for 1. The value it offers is worth far more than it's current dollar value and this is a head start for the next cycle.
The GCOTI is the secret weapon for the next cycle and this bag will be grown from now each week with an initial target of having a starting point over 100K GCOTI. This would see the new cycle require 100K COTI to guarantee a 30% APR which is half my current stake, but would be earning the same rewards that are currently being earned even though the stake would be 50% less.
The next cycle is going to be so profitable as we can apply the knowledge we learned this cycle and only guarantees success. I am excited for what lies ahead as there is so much untapped wealth that can be created because we know what we are doing. Just having the ability to earn the same amount of rewards on day one is a massive advantage as this GCOTI has in some ways replaced the time of what 4 years has taken to grow. This is why the GCOTI is so valuable for what it offers and why selling this token is never part of the plans.
The idea that each cycle you become stronger and stronger from a financial view point through the selling at the peak and buying back in when the bear market is in full swing is a huge factor. In theory one should be able to grow by roughly 10 x if you reinvest the entire amount so a 5 x should be possible. This may not be so easy as only time will tell and why in theory it is possible so even a 3 x would be seen as a win.
The peak of this cycle is the unknown factor and who knows it could be a dud for the coins we hold. Not every crypto rises at the same rate and why having a crypto investment with a use cases is becoming more important than ever. Next cycle I believe the narrative will be solely on use cases as there are a few that will be used in the real world in 2026 with one of them early as January next year.
