Hello again to the daily status report! As in previous days, here is a brief activity report, status report on the CCD, and, as always, a small raffle.
Willkommen zurück zum täglichen Statusreport! Wie auch die letzten Tage ein kleiner Tätigkeitsbericht, Statusreport zum CCD und wie immer inklusive kleiner Verlosung.
What I did today:
Today was mostly about coding. I actually started working on @YourFairy to improve data collection. But that quickly turned into modularizing a bunch of scripts in FLEXNet. There were no annoying commas today, but there were suboptimal API calls and ultimately the error in front of the screen. Well, eventually everything was fine, FLEXNet is now tidier and faster, @YourFairy has more data and reads more cleanly, and that was pretty much it.
(Well, of course, add the standard tasks: curating, commenting, making transactions, digital inspections, writing articles, small talk with the community on Discord or PMs to coordinate something with someone... The usual stuff.)
And when I write something like that, I always think to myself, “Paul, that doesn't sound like much...” And yet I've been sitting here for over 12 hours... Let's say 10 hours, minus getting coffee, smoking cigarettes, choosing music, going to the bathroom, etc. When I think about how much progress I would have made without all my little helpers... It's crazy how fast things must have been just a few years ago... I know all the times, but I can only vaguely remember them. Crazy... But I digress...
Was ich heute gemacht habe:
Heute war mein Tag überwiegend von Programmierarbeit bestimmt. Eigentlich hatte ich angefangen für @YourFairy, um die Datenerfassung zu verbessern. Das ist dann aber ziemlich schnell darin gegipfelt, erst einmal ein ganz paar Skripte in FLEXNet zu modularisieren. Ärgernde Kommas gab es heute nicht, dafür aber suboptimale API-Aufrufe und letztlich den Fehler vor dem Bildschirm. Naja, irgendwann war dann alles paletti, FLEXNet ist jetzt aufgeräumter und schneller, @YourFairy hat mehr Daten und liest sauberer ein und das war es praktisch schon.
(Naja klar, immer noch die Standartaufgeben hinzu: kuratieren, kommentieren, Transaktionen tätigen, digitale Kontrollgänge, Artikel schreiben, kleine Smalltalks mit der Gemeinschaft im Discord oder PMs um mit irgendwem irgendwas zu koordinieren... Das Übliche halt.)
Und wenn ich sowas schreibe, denke ich mir dann immer: "Paul, klingt nach nicht sonderlich viel...". Und trotzdem sitze ich hier seit über 12 Stunden... Lass es mal minus Kaffee holen, Zigarette rauchen, Musikauswahl, Toilettengang usw. 10 Stunden sein... Wenn ich mir überlege, welche Fortschritte ich aber ohne all meine Helferlein hätte... Wahnsinn, welche Geschwindigkeit man noch vor ein paar wenigen Jahren gehabt haben muss... Ich kenne ja all die Zeiten - kann mich da aber auch nur noch dunkel dran erinnern. Verrückt... Aber ich schweife ab...

Unfortunately, the slot machine is not ready yet – I could give out more tickets without encountering performance issues. Of course, there are far more than 50 CryptoCompany supporters. Sorry if you didn't land on the wheel today... I'm glad that the slot machine will be ready soon – then everyone will get their field and thus their chance to win.
